The customer provided us with a DD214 document clearly indicating that their discharge status was other than Honorable. To be eligible for Kia's military rebate of $300.00, an Honorable discharge is a prerequisite. We retained a copy of Kia's specific eligibility criteria and compared it against the DD214 document provided by the customer. We subsequently engaged in a discussion with the customer, who did not concur with Kia's stipulations. It is worth noting that the customer's spouse mentioned that another dealership absorbed the $300.00 military discount, which Kia typically offers. Their perspective was centered on "why not us?" The customer was cognizant from the outset that they might not meet the requirements, yet they sought to explore the possibility. We encouraged the customer to present their DD214 document and contact Kia directly for clarification on its acceptability. The customer was well-informed about the anticipated outcome.

The third paragraph is the same story I keep saying they are twisting over and over again even though I have emailed them what exactly happened. I’m not sure if they need glasses or if they are just choosing to keep lying but they know exactly what happened. Crowley Kia, not any other dealership at all, ate the cost of thousands of dollars for another customer and a rebate they promised her. They promised me I would qualify for the rebate they gave me before I signed for the car otherwise I wouldn’t have. I’m not sure if they are purposely trying to discriminate against me but it’s pretty convenient that they can give thousands of dollars to another customer with the same issue but then kick me out of their dealership and have an incredibly rude attitude. I have already contacted the main Kia who has agreed with me on this situation so it’s sad that Kia Crowley is continuing to twist the story and I really hope they have a better day and start treating their customers better. PS - if you look at their google reviews and sort to lowest rates you’ll see they commonly bait and switch and don’t have the best attitudes.
