I have been at Sundance Chevrolet for 25 years. I am now one of the used car sales managers at our Grand Ledge location. I was born and raised in Detroit Michigan. I now call Grand Ledge my home, and have lived here for the last 25 years. I enjoy spending as much time as I can with my family. I have a lovely wife, Lorie, that I have had the pleasure of being married to for 15 years. I also have two wonderful children, Brandon (25) and Alyssa (17). Shady sales tactics Jeff Chaffee, our sales rep was unprofessional, pushy, and lacked empathy. My wife and I had put a 500 dollar deposit down and were approved to be fin Jeff Chaffee, our sales rep was unprofessional, pushy, and lacked empathy. My wife and I had put a 500 dollar deposit down and were approved to be financed for the 2008 Jeep. We had already transferred insurance and right before we could sign we were told unfortunately there was a supposed deposit put down by a customer over the phone 2 days proir and had never seen the car. We were told the jeep we were getting was put on the lot 30 minutes before we got to it. Supposedly one of their sales agents messed up their paper work. We were financed for 3-4 hours, putting our deposit down, figuring out our monthly payments with their financial team and deciding we would not have extended warranty added to our arrangment. Which was being shamefully pushed on us. Being informed about this other guest's deposit, we were told we wpuld have to wait till tomorrow, but they could "sweeten" a deal on another vehicle. We did not want it. We were told to drive this other vehicle home; to see how much we would "like" it. We told Jeff, we want the vehicle we put the deposit down for. He kept trying to "sweeten" this other deal. We went back in this morning and informed him that we did not want the vehicle we drove home. He juat tried to push it on us. We then asked to see proof of the other deposit. They tried to present a proof, but it was not the same ID number for that vehicle that was on our receipt. I informed him that they were different ID numbers. He was beliegrent and kept making excuses for their team and their ability to handle paperwork. He sent his manager over and he ignorantly said how WE didn't put a deposit down on the right vehicle code. After getting our traded in title back and were about to leave, they wanted to try and sweeten another "deal" and knock 500 dollars off. We seen he was highly recommended and that was our reason for selecting him. If our experience was unfavorably than yours will be too. More

My wife and I purchased a 2016 Chrysler Town & Cou *** Please Use Caution *** I would caution anyone who decides to purchase from Sundance Chevrolet. My wife and I purchased a 2016 Chrysler Town & Country from them. The included options cut sheet that was on the company’s website and what was told to us from the salesman was not what we received. I contacted them multiple times letting them know we did not get the vehicle options we were told was part of the package. No one did anything to correct the issue. We were told by the salesman, sales manager and the general manager “we will look into this”, but nothing was done. They informed me that I took ownership of the vehicle knowing that the options were not part of the package even though the specification sheet said the options were part of the package. They said “ our salesman told us you knew the options were not on the vehicle and you still took position of it” This statement is completely wrong. The salesman said that the options were on the vehicle, it is just a matter of enabling them in the vehicle setup options and if I cannot get it turned on I should call Sundance Chevrolet and they will help you. Well the options did not exist, so I called the salesman and sent him a text the the same night I returned home from purchasing the vehicle. I informed the salesman that I can not get the blindspot monitoring turned on, that I cannot even find this option. From this point on all I got was a runaround. A $3500 option was not there and the salesman informed us the vehicle came from a private owner, but it did not, it was a lease trade it. Please do not trust this company!!!! I ran a Chrysler Vehicle check by the VIN number and found out that the vehicle was a rental vehicle from Thrifty Rental and was sold at an auction in Canada to Sundance Chevrolet. ***PLEASE BEWARE*** Reply to Dealers Reply. Ownership was taken because salesman informed me the option was included, it was just not activated, but could be activated by turning the option on in settings. Regarding notices, the salesman was notified the same day that the option was not able to be activated via the user settings. If you wish to see the documentation showing the text messages to the salesman the same day I returned home to notify him of the option not being on the vehicle. I also have copies of the emails sent to the salesman along with the dates I left messages for the sales manager and general manager. More
