On the way back to the Southside, we made our last stop at Dodd and it was just minutes before they were to close. We were welcomed and told to take our time to look around. We found a couple of travel trailers that we liked and were approached by Tina as we were looking at one model by Primetime Manufacturing. She said if we liked that one, she knew of one that might be just what we were looking for. She took us to one that was marked sold, that we had noticed but we could not enter. It was exactly what we were looking for and she knew it just based on our short conversation. No pressure, just showed us features and let the product speak for itself. Although it was getting to be almost an hour past closing time everyone was willing to stay to assist us. We made a decision to buy and stop looking. Great job of listening to our wants and above all, allowing us to shop even though they were not leaving work on time. More

This is our second camper. We upgrade to to a larger one. This is our first time with Dodds RV. First we went to RV show in Hampton earlier this month and met Al outside as we walked through those campers. H This is our first time with Dodds RV. Then we went in and walked around until we got to the Dodds area and met Tina and Mike, they were great, giving the information on the camper we fell in love with. March 22, we went to Dodds and met Dennis who was awesome with our walk through and would not go on until we got what he was talking about. After that we met Mary at Parts, she was great in telling us about the parts depart. Next we moved on to Jamie Dodd to go over financial information with us and he was also great with explaining and breaking down the information for us to understand. Finally it was time for us to pull away with our new camper. Yes this is long detailed review, but I wanted to make sure that each and everyone of you who read this review, know how great DODDS RV is. From the very beginning until the very end of the the process each and everyone of the people we met along our way was friendly, helpful, informative, and I'm sure it won't be the last time we see them. Thank you for a great experience Dodd RV!! I highly recommend them to all!! More

From the time we walked down their sales isle at Virginia Beach Convention Center RV show, they have been nothing short of exceptional. We purchased our new Rockwood RV from Greg Guin who was so friendly and knowledgeable he made us feel like family. His easy going nature and quiet manner let you know he is someone you can trust. We felt like we were talking to a long lost friend. Mike McNeil took the time to go over all the administrative details, never rushing us but rather giving us his undivided attention to be sure all our questions were answered. Jamie Dodd reviewed all the financing detail with us. He showed us every option available for purchase and gave us a wealth of knowledge about products and services that could both enhance our camping experience and protect our investment. The family name Dodd carries with it a great reputation in our community, and Jamie continues to be a credit to that name. Dennis Levick demonstrated the operation of our new RV top to bottom to be sure we understood the operational and safety process for all the major systems in the RV. We did run in to an operator error issue and had to call the service department for HELP!. Joey Lawrence came to the rescue on the phone and latter in the service department. He showed a level of professionalism rarely seen in business today. We were in a panic but he remained calm and talked us through the problem, brining it to a happy resolution. When we did make a service appointment for the operator error, Pete Foertsch was waiting for our arrival and went straight to work to iron out our problem. He evaluated every aspect of the problem and was not only able to correct the issue but his attention to detail improved the overall towing performance of the trailer. From the receptionist Debra who shared her homemade brownies to Mary the parts department guru, everyone made us feel welcomed and valued. We recognize and trust the brands they sell, but more importantly we embrace the way they do business, treating each customer as a part of the Dodd family. Everyone from the owner, Jamie, to all of the other staff that were there, everyone was very knowledgable about what they did. We got incredible instructions about our new camper from Pete. I had visited a few different dealers in my search for the right Toy Hauler for me. I was enroute to a dealer when I passed Dodd's RV dealership and made the u-turn to check them out. Tina Dew was the firest person I met entering the lot and she impressed me because she wanted to know what I needed. Once I explained what I was searching for, she took me through a number of toy haulers and was very patient with me on my search. What impressed me was her desire. For me to get what I wanted, not try to sell me something I didn't want. Everyone I dealt with was helpful whether it was sales, finance, set-up or parts! What a great experience. More

We have been looking at travel trailers for over a year, and frequented several dealer in the State of Virginia. We found Dodd RV and met Greg, a courteous, low pressure, customer focused salesman. Greg asked us what we were looking for and a price point. After some discussion, he took us around the lot and showed us only what we were interested in. There was no,"I know this is what you said, but you need to see this" type of sales push. We were encouraged to look at each of them closely and more than once to be sure that construction, features and style were what we wanted. After we found the Travel Trailer that we determined met our style and needs, Greg took us to see Mike, and told him exactly what we had talked about. Mike sat down with us and went over price and financing options. We sealed the deal and are now the pound owners of a new A Prime Time Avenger 32fRES TT. A week later on a rainy Saturday, we arrived at the dealership to pick up the unit; Jamie had all the paper work ready to sign and made the process efficient and painless. Amanda gave us a great tour of the parts dept explaining what we would need and how Dodd RV wiould help us. After that we were brought out to the service area for our orientation. They moved our TT inside due to the weather. Ricky was ready for us and took us us through the trailer from hitch to bumper. He explained everything in great detail and answered all of our questions; my wife and I are very detail oriented were very surprised at the thoroughness of the orientation and level of service that Dodd and their stellar staff gave us from front to back. It was extremely pleasurable to deal with such a low pressure, family oriented group of professionals. More
