As usual, the service department at Hawthorne Chevrolet came through on my service visit. I needed them to diagnose my check engine light. They found the problem and were able to replace the part the sam came through on my service visit. I needed them to diagnose my check engine light. I called and asked for service under warranty. When I got there the tech put some device on the car and said oh yep this is covered. I got a call later. No it’s not covered. You need to pay almost When I got there the tech put some device on the car and said oh yep this is covered. I got a call later. No it’s not covered. You need to pay almost 200. I was not happy but not rude. When I got to the deal shop I heard the service rep and the tech and manager talking smack about me like 10 feet away. I am actively telling everyone I know about this experience and recommending any other dealership possible. More
