PLEASE READ**** THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD GO TO KENDALL HYUNDAI BEFORE ANY OTHER HYUNDAI.... On April 30, 2022 I went with the family to purchase a vehicle at Doral Hyundai and was interested on purchas HYUNDAI BEFORE ANY OTHER HYUNDAI.... On April 30, 2022 I went with the family to purchase a vehicle at Doral Hyundai and was interested on purchasing a Venue SE/SEL or KONA SE/SEL. Their selection was pretty slim and their salesman weren't able to advise exactly what was in inventory, so we had to take a ride through the lot to verify what truly was on hand. When we got back to the desk none of the inventory the salesman showed us worked out for us. It was 11:30AM and as we told the salesman that we would try back another day. The salesman spoke to his manager, Edwin Barrantes to see how they can salvage a possible sale and was told to take "$500 off of any of the vehicles we had been interested in" during our ride in the lot. We stated we had to keep looking around because the colors that we saw didn't work and most of what was available was Limited edition not an SE or SEL. After walking outside, we took a walk through the opposite side of the lot to continue reviewing their inventory without a salesman and to talk among the family. After further discussion we decided to settle on one of the vehicles they had available a grey KONA. When we walk back inside Edwin advised the "$500 manager discount was off the table" I insisted that how could that be it had only been 10 Minutes. After we continued to talk he simply refused with a smile and then as I walked away he laughed at me with another manager. I felt disrespected and humiliated that a Doral Hyundai employee at his level instead of leading by example would be so careless but to laugh at a customer that he refused to honor a deal that had been presented 10 minutes prior. I asked for his name and business card and they continued to laugh and be disrespectful. Since I was ready to buy a car they don't realize they could've honored the $500 and inflated the MSRP of the vehicle and fooled me to believing I was getting the $500 and they still would have gotten the sale, but to refuse to honor a discount that was given 10 minutes prior and then be disrespectful about it at a managerial level is unacceptable and I firmly believe it should be called out because no customer should ever feel that way. After leaving Doral Hyundai I went to Kendall Hyundai and purchased KONA SE with Sales Advisor Milena Romero. We had a stress-free sale and was even catered to like we were at a 5 Star Restaurant; (Offered Coffee and Water, greeted by all employees, and a great comfortable lobby to sit and discuss with the family. During the sale Mark Diaz greeted us and congratulated us on the sale. We felt accepted at Kendall Hyundai. I even shared my feedback with some of the employees so they could understand that great customer service pays off and in this day of age you don't find much of it due to lack of employee's or unhappy salaries; but I tell you what the customer service and professionalism from all the employees at Kendall Hyundai was very well recognized and they should be grateful for it. Thank you Milena Romero and Mark Diaz for a wonderful experience at Kendall Hyundai and a great deal on our Hyundai Kona. Look forward to visiting you every time service is due. Wish I would've gone to Kendall of Hyundai first, but now I know better! More
