We also don't like spending time sitting in a dealership working out numbers. I only like to come in if I know the deal will be where we want it to be. Bill Loftus fielded my phone call and was eager to work a deal without me having to come to the dealership until we agreed in principle. With 2 young boys and a busy schedule that is a big benefit for our family and saves time for both us and the dealer. Bill takes a professional approach to sales by giving feedback when asked and letting the merits of the vehicle sell themselves. That is an approach I really aporeciate. If I am at a dealership it's because I have interest and don't need to be badgered on every detail. That said he also wasn't afraid to deftly ask for the sale when it appeared to make sense for all and that is important as well in recognizing our intent. As a final piece of added value they ran into a glitch in finance the day we took delivery. Rather than having us stay at the dealership longer with a 4 and 2 year old we were able to take the vehicle home and Bill Loftus brought the papers to us. Those little touches along with all the after sale service inclusions are nice values that make the Tom Gill process an enjoyable one. As a side note Mindy Louden was also extremely helpful in facilitating a test drive and assisting with questions at times when Bill was unavailable. More

Idiots in the position of power I bought a used car, 2012 Equinox, 21 days ago. I've already had to take it back to get serviced, which took over a week for them to understand that t I bought a used car, 2012 Equinox, 21 days ago. I've already had to take it back to get serviced, which took over a week for them to understand that there was something wrong with the car. They don't service exhaust work, so my car was drive across town to get the proper service. The other problem is still not fixed cuz they only have one guy who can fix the problem. I went to tag & register the car today, 2/04/17, only to find out I can't because the car is not n the system. No title was done on the SUV. Car was financed, but the place that financed it sent me a letter toady stating they could not finance it. I'm baffled!!! Every time I call, I get talked to like I'm a burden rather than a customer. The day I bought the car, they apparently sold a similar model & got my paperwork & the other customers switched. Really?!? It's just been one headache after another. Considering giving them their SUV back & going somewhere where the dealers know how to do their job. Never had this much confusion, disrespect or lack of customer needs from a dealer. Never would I recommend Tom Gill & will NEVER purchase from there again. Only positive I can say is that Mindy Louden was extremely helpful, but unfortunately she had prior obligations & had to let another salesperson seal the deal. If ya wanna call it a deal. @ this point, I'm not even sure if the car is mine after all the letters & title work confusion. More
