At Bloomington Subaru, they are always great at communicating status of your vehicle and appointment. However, I just got my four tires changed without a clear need because there was a sale and Mit communicating status of your vehicle and appointment. However, I just got my four tires changed without a clear need because there was a sale and Mitch had counseled me that my tires would need to be changed soon anyway as car is almost six years old with some tread wear and tear. The sale was the reason I did the major investment. I made that clear to my contact, Mitch. He pushed me to make the appointment with the promise that he'd help me find opportunities to save. Then, he was miraculously not in the office when I came down to pay. (He was when I checked in though). When it was time to pay, I worked with a contact who did not know my needs. She did the best she could and promised to connect with Mitch to return my call. Mitch did not. I feel very disappointed in the lack of follow through, AND feel a bit unheard about my desire to save with any discounts. It wasn't clear if I got the sale price or how he did right by me as he promised. It affects my trust that was strong after more than 5 years of service at this dealership. Mitch disappointed me. He is such a good guy. I feel bad leaving this review, but this was horrible not to be told that he had to leave when he had made it clear he'd help me. I feel that extra communication was needed that he was leaving for the day, not able to be there when I checked out as I was stuck with the higher bill in order to get my car keys and drive home. I was clear that I wanted a call back, but it is now 28 hours later with no phone call returned. I feel it was a bait and switch. It feels kind of icky from a dealership I've trusted for more than 5 years. More
