DealerRater.com asks car buyers to share their stories. Here’s ours. My wife and I were looking for a used, late-model SUV, either a Honda or Toyota. After visiting a Honda dealer and driving both a Pilot and a 4Runner, were decided on a 4Runner. But the Honda agency’s 4Runner was not CPO and offered only a six-month warranty. My daughter went online and found a nice 4Runner at Sloane Toyota in nearby Malvern, Pa. We went there the next morning to find that the 4Runner we were interested in had been sold. Enter Sloane’s salesman Mohammed Sid’ Ahmed. Mo is the dealership’s standout salesperson, and it’s easy to see why. He called around and found a similar car at one of Sloane’s sister agencies in the Philadelphia area. He said the car would be at Sloane’s Malvern the next morning. This car was $2K more than the 4Runner we had wanted – but that was no problem. Mo knocked $2K off the car’s price and threw in a new tonneau cover, which the car lacked. As this was a Toyota dealership, the car was also CPO, with a 12-month warranty. The rest of our experience with Sloane just as customer-friendly. Getting back to Mo, he must be one of the hardest-working car salesmen around. After service so disappointing I've leased and purchased vehicles from Sloan and have referrers manybfruebds and family. This time however was different. Returned a leased vehicle and was told Sloan would adjust for any damage to the lease. Which was minimal at best. Got a collection letter saying I owes money for repairs. Have left numerous messages for the gym and sales manager with no response back. Called Toyota who is very upset that this wasn't taken care of by Sloan malversation. I've written great reviews fir Sloan Ed and Mohammed but unfortunately will not again. Please be aware that bit everything they tell you is true More

Trustworthy salesman and dealership I drove 6 hours from New York to buy a used VW Sportwagen diesel from Mohamed. I was willing to take a risk on the drive because Mohamed sounded hone I drove 6 hours from New York to buy a used VW Sportwagen diesel from Mohamed. I was willing to take a risk on the drive because Mohamed sounded honest and straightforward on the phone. What a great decision! The car was exactly as described if not better, the price was low so no need for haggling, and Mohamed handled the deal as if he were working with a friend and not a out-of-town customer buying a used car. I was even about to sign a deal with Conicelli day after I met with Mohammed. However,I decided to check one last time Malvern Toyota. After conversation with Mohammed I understood that I buy not only car but long term relationship with dealership. Mohammed did not act like other dealers trying to sell me any car. He asked me questions to find my needs, my budget my routine to find me the best fit, in one words he read my mind before offering something. I walked out from dealership with car, happy and sense of not been ripped off because I've got the best deal from Sloane Toyota of Malvern. More
