We want to first apologize for the confusion and what you were told about the coverage of the valve body on your vehicle. As a rule we normally do not advise of any warranty coverage until the vehicle has been properly diagnosed and we can verify coverage. The reason where the vehicle is registered is important is because not all states participate with partial zero emissions requirements as outlined by the Federal Government to provide coverage for some emissions related parts for a longer period of time. Where the vehicle is registered is how coverage is determined and New Hampshire is one of the states that does not participate. We cannot submit any claim to Subaru of America and get reimbursement for the repairs due to this fact. Subaru is definitely a customer driven company and if you contact Subaru at 1-800-782-2783 and review your situation with them, they may be able to offer you some assistance or some reimbursement of the repair cost if already repaired. .
