Anwar went beyond to help me find my car, a Macan. On my 1st visit, I drove a Cayenne and a Macan to determine if I liked either one. My 2nd visit, which was 2 days later, I drove 3 different Macans. Anwar was patient, informative, not pushy, and made it easy for me to make my decision. I purchased the 1st Macan I had drove on my 1st visit. On both visits, he and Melissa stayed after closing which I greatly appreciate due to my work schedule. There are two main reasons that I purchased from Porsche Ft. Wayne: 1) Anwar and his help before and after I purchased. I wanted an OEM tow hitch installed on the Macan and he made all the arrangements. He also linked Apple Car Play and the Porsche App to my phone and gave me a quick tutitorial when I picked up my car. 2) The friendliness of the dealership. Please AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP at all costs. DO NOT purchase a vehicle from Porsche Fort Wayne or any of the ODaniel automotive group dealerships. They are liars and misrepresent their products. They will PURPOSELY sell you a mechanically unsound vehicle and then cover it up. Do not conduct any business with Nathaniel Weaver (sales agent), Melissa Fiandt (sales manager), or have their service team/manager evaluate your vehicle (Jacob Williams). I was sold a preowned, one owner, lower mileage 2016 Cayenne GTS that had been reportedly completely inspected by their service team and was promised to be in perfect working condition. I flew from NY after confirming the mechanical and overall quality of the vehicle with the sales team. I was shown their pre-purchase inspection report. Everything looked ok from that standpoint. Shortly after leaving the dealership I noticed some shuddering and jerking of the vehicle as well as a grinding during lower speed maneuvers. After returning home, I immediately took the vehicle to my certified Porsche mechanic who confirmed the problem was a bad transfer case. On top of that he assured me that this problem was definitely detected and known at the time of sale after he reviewed the service logs. In addition, I asked my mechanic to discuss this mechanical problem with Jacob, the service manager at Porsche Fort Wayne, and Jacob refused to believe this was indeed the problem, and after the case was discussed further, he recommended a cover-up fix by "repairing" it with a non Porsche-recommended friction additive (and not replacing the malfunctioning transfer case). Suffice it to say that this dealership purposely sold me a faulty vehicle to maximize their profits. They are refusing to assist in the repair (I offered to pay for the labor of the repair if they would pay for a new transfer case). This common mechanical issue is well known to all Porsche mechanics and Porsche USA. Yet, they claim to have had no idea that they were selling damaged goods. Such an utter lie. To top it all off they told me that since I am a "successful business man" that I should be ok with this situation. Disgusting business practices. They are absolute thieves and cannot be trusted. More
