Worst dealership ever. Screwed me over on the car buying process by selling me on their 72hour exchange policy well that’s pretty much a pointless policy. Then when calling for info to cancel our warranty t process by selling me on their 72hour exchange policy well that’s pretty much a pointless policy. Then when calling for info to cancel our warranty they refused to give us the information to cancel it! Said we had to come to the dealership for them to do the cancellation I informed them I am high risk and didn’t want to risk myself and said I could cancel if they could give me the info and they refused to do it over the phone! I asked them to email it or put me on hold to get it. 30 minutes later I hung up! Was told after writing a review on a different site to call the general manager and he refused to take my calls when I called the dealership. They act like they care about customers but they don’t. Here’s to giving my opinion on them for the next 7 years! More

Sam was great to work with! He worked with us on getting a good deal and spent the time necessary to show us the car’s features. Very nice person and a hard worker. a good deal and spent the time necessary to show us the car’s features. Very nice person and a hard worker. More

The service was great! They answered all of my questions and made it a smooth process. This was my first car and I couldn’t have felt more helped and encouraged through the process. and made it a smooth process. Car dealership are not my favorite places. It was still hard to deal with in the area of high pressure sales in the area of locking down the price. hard to deal with in the area of high pressure sales in the area of locking down the price. More

Edmond Hyundai was fantastic. We told them what we were looking for and the salesman explained all features. The vehicle we wanted they didn’t have on the lot and the went to Wichita to get it. looking for and the salesman explained all features. Worst buying experience ever I was in the market recently for a luxury sedan and test drove vehicles from Lexus, Cadillac, Audi, & BMW. Genesis (as a brand) had really good review I was in the market recently for a luxury sedan and test drove vehicles from Lexus, Cadillac, Audi, & BMW. Genesis (as a brand) had really good reviews so I stopped by Genesis of Edmond on 1/31. The salesman (Cole M.) showed me the G70s & G80s. I immediately liked the exterior and interior styling of the G80. Cole is an impressive young man who thoroughly knew the features of the G80. After I test drove the vehicle, I was pretty much convinced it was the vehicle I was looking for. My purchase experience really went downhill from there. The finance guy involved in the negotiations (Neko, I believe) talked really fast and I had difficulty following him on how the financial aspects of the transaction would work (for perspective, I am a Certified Financial Planner with 26 years of experience working with money, finances, borrowing, etc.). We finally agreed on the terms. I was very clear that I wanted to purchase the vehicle through my business. I asked if that was a problem and was told "no, no problem." It was about 8:30 at night and I had been there for about three hours so I didn't review the paperwork with my normal scrutiny. I signed all of it and went home for the evening. A couple of days later I was scanning copies of the documents and realized that I was sold the vehicle personally and not through my business, as I had requested. I made the finance person (Paul Sargent - a different person than who negotiated the purchase with me) aware of the mistake. The salesman (again, a great guy) brought me new paperwork purchasing the vehicle in the business name a couple of days later. So 30 days pass and my temporary tag had expired. I called the dealership and was directed to the Director of Finance, Brian Burton. I told him I was concerned that 30 days had passed but that I didn't have my title info needed to tag the vehicle and to pay the excise tax owed to the Oklahoma Tax Commission. He said "I was just about to call you (which I seriously doubted). Brian gave me a little attitude and implied part of this was my fault (which was a little upsetting). Brian then told me he would have the paperwork to me in a few days. A week passed with no contact from Brian. I called again and asked "Where is my paperwork?" Same response ... Brian said they would have it to me in a few days. Another week passed; no paperwork. Same thing: "Brian, where is my paperwork?"Same response from Brian: "I will have it to you in 1-3 days." But nothing received. I then stopped by to see the general manager. I was told he wasn't available. They took my name and number and was told he would call me. No call back. Another week passes, and I place another call to the General Manager; no call back. Another week passes and I make another call to Brian. I receive same response: "I will have it to you in a day or two." Didn't happen. Another call to the General Manager (my third and last attempt to escalate the issue); still no call back. In the middle of this I called Genesis corporate and filed a complaint. They told me they didn't get involved in sales-related issues between the customer and the dealership, but that they would create a case and try to contact the dealership on my behalf. Brian Burton finally got me the paperwork a full 2 months after the vehicle was purchased. My salesman, Cole, brought it by my office. During our conversation I expressed concern that I would have a big penalty from the OTC for the vehicle not being tagged within 30 days of purchase (again, 1/31/2020). He told me that wouldn't be the case and that the clock on the 30 days wouldn't start until I received the title/tag info. I signed the correct paperwork and received the tag/title info a few days later. It was notarized on 2/4 and that was the date the 30 day clock began to tick NOT when I received it (early April). I went to tag it and was informed that I had a $137 late penalty. The dealership, to their credit, did reimburse me for this amount (that's the only reason they get 2 stars instead of 1). All in all, this is easily the worst vehicle purchase I have ever had. Again, my salesman (Cole) was awesome. But the finance manager and general manager were both a near total fail. Genesis makes a fantastic luxury vehicle with near all/all of the features offered by Audi, BMW, etc., but for a lot less money. I can't recommend Genesis enough. But just don't buy it at Genesis of Edmond; buy it somewhere else. More
