STAY AWAY FROM SALESAMAN NICK SCHOUTEN! We made an agreement on a 2017 Kia Cadenza Limited via text/email/phone calls. When I spoke on the phone we both talked about the Kia Limited (multiple times). agreement on a 2017 Kia Cadenza Limited via text/email/phone calls. When I spoke on the phone we both talked about the Kia Limited (multiple times). They beat another dealerships price. I put a deposit on the vehicle. Drove 3 hours. The Limited I put a deposit on was a clean Carfax and the one he was trying to push down my throat had been in 2 accidents, dent in the front right bumper, and the pinstripe was all damaged it was a Technology which is a lower trim. Everything about the whole situation was shady. The car that I inquired about was at their "sister" location and Nick said it was 3 hours away. When I looked it up it was only an hour away.. he tried to take advantage of me because I wasn't from the area as if Google didn't exist. I told him we would just drive there and then he said they would make it right and he didn't want to lose the sale. It was about 9:30. He told me to get breakfast and the car would be there a little over an hour. I believed him that they would try to make it right. Hour and a half went by.. nothing. I texted him asking if it was there and he said it would be another hour and a half. We showed up at 12:30 thinking it should be there by now. Nick was no where to be found. We sat there for about 15 minutes. He comes and says well we won't be able to make anything happen. It's this price it is what it is and said he had 4 other people to deal with and just left. No apologies. No nothing. No I'm sorry you drove 3 hours ONE WAY and that he made a mistake. I whole heartely think he thought I was a female and that I was stupid and he would be able to "bait and switch" the vehicle and it didn't work. He was never apologetic. Looking back I should have just left and drove an hour West and dealt with them. Also looking back when I told him I didn't want the Technology that I wanted a Limited that we talked about his face was red and he was really fidgety. If this review saves one person from a headache from buying from him or that dealership then I will completely be satisfied. Also after I left the more I thought about it the madder I was. I called and spoke to Manager George and I was trying to understand how it all happened. Mind you I never mentioned "bait and switch" to Nick or George. George mentioned over the phone call he said I understand how this all looks but we never meant to switch the vehicle.. and it has never happened in 25 years. The moment he mentioned "meant to switch" I knew that is what happened. Avoid this place and definitely Nick!! More
