Nick Colucci was AWESOME and CARING! I contacted at least 20+ VW dealers from Ventura County, Los Angeles, and Orange County trying to find a special order 2019 VW SEL Premium Jetta, Sa I contacted at least 20+ VW dealers from Ventura County, Los Angeles, and Orange County trying to find a special order 2019 VW SEL Premium Jetta, Sage Green, tan/black interior with the Cold Weather Package. Many dealers said they could order it yet it wasn't available with the C.W.P. Other dealers said they would check into it and never called back. I looked for this exact car online in 8 different states and nothing. I contacted Nick Colucci, General Sales Manager at Capistrano VW. Nick was VERY responsive to what I needed. Nick said he would contact his VW Area Rep right away. Within a day Nick had found my car as it was on a ship from Pueblo Mexico headed to the port in Huston Texas. Nick said he assigned his dealer code to the car this way no one else could take my car. Nick was very communicative as we talked on the phone and kept me apprised at every step of my car. He would send me screenshots when the car arrived in Huston and any updates as the car moved closer to Capistrano VW. One night it was after 10 PM as I sent Nick some questions regarding my car as I knew he would answer first thing in the morning. To my surprise, within two minutes I got a reply from Nick saying hold on and he would answer my questions. The communication from Nick was like no other experience that I have ever had from ANY dealership or anywhere else! I'll bet we had more than 30 emails back and forth not to mention the phone calls. Nick found out my car was on a railcar from Huston Texas headed for San Bernadino which would take 10 days and another day to reach his dealership. I sent Nick an email anticipating it would arrive on Tuesday, January 29th. Nick sent me an email on Wednesday, January 23 saying the car came in early and they were prepping my car. Nick sent me all the paperwork via email which I filled out and sent back that night. I was so excited as this journey finding this special car started months ago! I asked Nick when I could pick it up and he said Thursday, January 24th be soon enough. I had previously turned in my 2015 SEL TDI Jetta to another dealership on December 26th. I was without a car and told Nick I would take a 3-hour train to San Juan Capistrano and then Uber to their dealership. Nick said he would pay for my train ticket and have me picked up by the Capistrano VW! Wow, I was blown away once again at how accommodating and nice Nick was! During my train ride, Nick texted me and gave me the name of Pat Kirby who would be picking me up. Pat also texted me, told me what he was driving and gave his cell phone number in case I couldn't find him. Upon arrival, I walked out to the street and there was Pat. Pat Kirby is in sales and leasing and was such a great guy. We had a very nice conversation on the way to Capistrano VW. Pat took me in to finally meet Nick Colucci who made it all happen. Nick insisted that I take my new car for a test drive with Pat which was great. When I got back Nick and I discussed the final price on the car as we were both on the same page. I feet I got a great deal, an amazing car which is the only one in California. Pat Kirby took me out to my car to show me all the features, pair my garage door the car's Homelink and set up my phone with Android Play. Pat was very patient and extremely helpful for taking the necessary time to acquaint me with my new car. I can't say enough about Nick Colucci and Pat Kirby! No one wants to buy a new car but when it happens as in my recent situation where my last Jetta of 186,000 miles needed to be replaced mostly because I want to drive something newer. This dealership came through with flying colors with an energetic sale staff the sells a vehicle as if they were selling it to a family member not just anyone off the street. The service department manager took time from a busy schedule to answer my questions and give me the information I needed to move forward I needed to make an educated decision on my next purchase.
