I was scammed by salesman Jeremy Northrop and this dealership. I purchased this vehicle from Jidd Motors Mitsubishi on August 14th, 2025 fully online. Car was delivered August 28th, 2025. When I got it, Jidd Motors provided me a cheap knockoff/aftermarket Lexus keyfob with my 2021 Lexus IS 350 F Sport. The key that was provided wouldn't lock, unlock, open the trunk, or set off the alarm. I had to pay $535 for a locksmith just hours after taking delivery of this vehicle because I was stranded and couldn't unlock the car after it was locked from the inside. None of this issue surrounding the keyfob was communicated to me by Jeremy Northrop during the process of purchasing it. Now, it has been 4 days since I got the car and Jidd Motors has made no efforts in fully reimbursing me nor helping me with getting an actual working keyfob for this vehicle. The current date is September 1st, 2025 and I still can't even drive the car because I wouldn't be able to unlock it. The most response I got was "we'll send you a $5 replacement battery", when the issue with the key is not the battery, but that it is a cheap knock-off! I already contacted a certified Lexus dealership and they said that Lexus vehicles cannot be programmed with aftermarket knockoff keys, like the one Jidd Motors provided me with. For a $40,000 car, you would expect a working key to go with your expensive vehicle purchase. This dealership would charge you luxurious vehicle prices but cheap out on things like getting you an actual working OEM keyfob. Adam Jidd (CEO) and Nick Kabro (manager) was contacted but have been hesitant and non helpful with this whole entire issue. More

This is a scam operation of the highest order. DO NOT! I REPEAT... DO NOT ! buy a vehicle from this place I learned the hard way by not reading the dealer reviews!!!! They will put addons in the contracts and tell you verbally it's free. But in reality you pay for them for it. When you cancel the contract they take the money out of the employees pocket. Therefore they actually never cancel the warranty because no employee want to have money taken from them. Then later they rush you to give them a high review so the employee can be salesperson of the month. Not to mention they are not truthful about the repair warranty. They use it as an insert to sell the vehicle faster. They are not above disconnecting the battery to reset the check engine light for a faster sale. They sold us a vehicle with a major pre-existing defect and deliberately lied and concealed it from us! Just do your due diligence and research all online reviews and complaints including the BBB that have been reported against them. Their COO James, and CEO Nick were informed and shown proof of the defect and initially said they would make it right, however it's been 5 months and not only have they back tracked what they said but they are now evading and refusing to be accountable to pay the full costs to repair the vehicle defect! THEY NEED TO DO THE RIGHT THING AND FIX THEIR WRONGS by providing in writing what they say they will do and stop misleading and engaging consumers with false advertising and selling vehicles that are mechanically defective. AVOID them at ALL COSTS! Official complaints against Jidd Motors Mitsubishi with The BBB, The Illinois Attorney General, The FTC etc will be proactively pursued. Jidd Motors Mitsubishi and it's associates from top to bottom need to make their wrongs right and stop blatantly violating consumer's rights! More
