Purchased an XC60 for my daughter. Worked with Patti Young and Vanya Sacco. Had a great experience. They quickly found the car we wanted, were very responsive and communicative, and the price was fair. Young and Vanya Sacco. Had a great experience. I purchased a new 2020 XC90 T8; wound up being a lemon w significant hybrid battery problems that shut off the car completely while driving. Car spent 6o days in service. Volvo and Herb Chambers agreed that significant hybrid battery problems that shut off the car completely while driving. Car spent 6o days in service. Volvo and Herb Chambers agreed that they sold me a lemon and offered a replacement vehicle. After months of waiting for the replacement XC90, I went to take delivery and found that in violation of MA lemon laws, they pressured me to extend my loan by 8 months and pay an extra $7k or so, That still was better than holding onto my lemon so I begrudgingly agreed. A week later the Alexander, the sales person tracked me down to insist that I sign a document suggesting that the dealership gave me a manufacturer $1000 incentive when they did not (in fact the finance person closing the deal said there was no such incentive despite it being on Volvo's website). He then threatened repeatedly that If I didn't sign the inaccurate document, I would be charged $2k or have my care repossessed. Totally unprofessional and unethical. I was upset that my conversation with the general manager, Mr Salem, did not go much better as he too demanded I sign the inaccurate document or be forced to pay $2k. Very shady and dishonest, My third Volvo from this dealership. I will never buy anything from them again and suggest others use extreme caution if considering doing business with them. If you buy a car from them and it turns out to be a lemon, they will not stand behind their product and abide by state lemon laws. And any attempt to have a rational conversation with the sales team will cause frustration and escalation of poor and illogical arguments coming from them. And, don't expect to actually get a call back from the sales manager, Mr Alessi, which further created confusion between an inexperienced and incompetent salesperson, Mr Pease and an unhelpful and illogical general manager, Mr Salem. What a disappointment.... More
