I recently had a pleasant car purchase experience thanks to the terrific salesperson, Pablo Courtade. The VW finance end of things did not go as well (nothing to do with Pablo) as I caught an almost $2,700 error (not in my favor) that the finance person not only missed, but then argued with me about its accuracy (I was right). No apology just irritation that I didn't purchase additional warranty. I trust it was an honest error but make sure you check the math before you sign any finance documents! More

I've dealt with West Islip VW, and Pablo in particular on 2 separate deals and I found him to be awesome. He was extremely helpful and patient and even helped us iron out an insurance issue we had. He did suggest a car that, while more expensive, fit our circumstances a lot better, and never once did I feel hurried or pressured All of the staff at the dealership were very polite and knowledgeable, and the purchasing process was as transparent and straightforward as a vehicle purchase can be. It's a great dealership with professional staff and Pablo proves there is such a thing as an honest Car Salesman! More
