I flew in the night before and by 10:30am the next morning I was ready to drive home. Completing a detailed inspection, test drive and paperwork. Frenchie was outstanding, customer led and went the extra mile to satisfy my questions. Purchasing a Lexus certified car from 500 miles away can be a little difficult. But that team made me feel very comfortable and it is a Lexus of course. I would highly recommend this dealership and my salesman Frenchie. Patrick Antar is a Lexus Product Expert My wife and I are educated consumers. We always use Consumer Reports to narrow our search criteria. In looking for a new SUV, we found 4 manufacture My wife and I are educated consumers. We always use Consumer Reports to narrow our search criteria. In looking for a new SUV, we found 4 manufacturers that had excellent ratings for their mid-sized SUV. We were focused on the 3 non-luxury brands due to budget. We went to two of those brands with our criteria, and I was extremely disappointed with the sales people at both. Two different manufacturers and the first question each sales person asked my wife was, "What color are you interested in?" I still cannot fathom why they would lead with what should be the last question. To make me feel even more uncomfortable with their total lack of product knowledge, one sales person responded to my inquiry about an SUV with a tow hitch, by stating they do not have that as an option. I knew for a fact that the tow hitch is an option. Clearly this sales person was trying to sell me what they had, rather than what I wanted. One of the Consumer Reports recommended vehicles that met our specifications was the Lexus RX. We were not prepared to pay as much as a new Lexus would cost, so we decided to look into a Lexus Certified Pre-Owned. Arriving at Charles Barker Lexus of Newport News, we met Patrick Antar. Patrick had more product expertise than any automotive sales person I ever met. He took a lot of time asking us questions to ascertain exactly what we wanted. We asked about Lexus Certified Pre-Owner and Patrick very ably convinced us of the benefits of Certified Pre-Owned. Then when we went to look at the selection of RX's on the lot, Patrick knew every detail of each car we looked at. His expertise helped us understand every feature as well as each difference of the ones we looked at. We found exactly what we wanted thanks to Patrick's expertise as well as his superior ability to discover what was important to us. We decided on the spot to purchase a Certified Pre-Owned Lexus RX. The car is so perfect that unless you looked at the odometer, you would not be able to tell it is used. Many other sales people, say "goodbye" once the contract is signed. Not Patrick. After he had the car detailed, he hopped in and explained every single feature to us. As a professional salesperson myself, I have a great amount of respect and appreciation for Patrick's professionalism, and his obvious desire to make sure we are extremely satisfied with our selection.
