I was disappointed that I didn't get a response (as with other local Mazda Dealers in the area so you're not alone) about adding a Gentex Homelink auto-dimming Garage door opening rearview mirror (0000‑8C‑R06). I WASN'T asking for a freebie or discount, just the actual installation service. I realize 1) It's a low margin job, 2) It involves wiring in the A-pillar which means air bags and air bag clips, but maybe only 1 hour labor 3) Low priority/non-warranty work 4) Probably not even in stock so that's another hurdle. It was a dealer installed option on all new 2023 Mazda CX-5s so the knowledge and labor experience should exist as well. Seriously, all standard: Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross‑Traffic Alert, Smart City Brake Support, Lane Departure Warning System, Lane‑Keep Assist, Mazda Radar Cruise Control & Driver Attention Alert and I have to flick the mirror to block high-beams and use a manual garage door opener? Not cool. Just very disappointing from an otherwise very enjoyable buying experience. More
