I just visited Reliable Nissan to buy out my lease. Finance Manager Nick Anaya and I presume Finance Director Paul Bateman (Nick mentioned a "Paul") attempted to charge me $800 for a "Safety Inspection Finance Manager Nick Anaya and I presume Finance Director Paul Bateman (Nick mentioned a "Paul") attempted to charge me $800 for a "Safety Inspection" even though my car has been in their shop previously; they also planned on charging me for an emissions inspection - even though I reside in Rio Rancho and it's not required, and they planned on charging me for excess mileage even though I was buying out my car. All told, these two enterprising auto pros wanted to take me for more than $3,000 over my buyout cost from Nissan, including sales tax and registration. I didn't stick around for the final total, although I am certain that some sort of "doc" fees or sitting in the chair fee or listening to the stupid gong fee would have been added. The only bright spot was Sales Rep Kathleen Kreger, who I will buy a car from once she leaves this merry band and finds employment at a real dealership. Run away, run away fast! There are some great people at Reliable, but after this treatment I would rather drive to Las Cruces or Santa Fe than deal with these jerks. If you are in my situation, know that you can buyout your lease from Nissan at lease-end using a bank or credit union to handle the transfer instead of subjecting yourself to this abuse and exposing yourself to these charges. More

They will also sell you an un-needed and expensive platinum repair warranty that becomes worthless in about 1 year and doesn't fix anything when you actually decide to use it or NEED to use it. PLEASE GO IN THERE WITH SOME CAR BUYING KNOWLEDGE, if you do, because if you go in this place thinking they will help someone like you that has no previous experience buying a car or TRUCK, they will take full advantage of you and stick it in! They also make you sign everything on camera during the sale (because they do this all the time) so that you can't come back on the xxxxty deal they tricked you into signing and sue them for a bad sale! The only thing this place cares about is that the people trying to buy a new car to stay numb so that they have a place to work so they can cash out on a measly 1000 or their percentage of what was put down on the car that day. THE WORST AND UNETHICAL CAR DEALERSHIP I HAD EVER DEALT WITH. THEY SOLD A MAXIMA TO A FAMILY MEMBER OF MINE BY 12K DOLLARS AND WHEN I COMES IN WITH THEM TO SEE IF THE DEALERSHIP WILLING TO WORK WITH THEM O WITH. THEY SOLD A MAXIMA TO A FAMILY MEMBER OF MINE BY 12K DOLLARS AND WHEN I COMES IN WITH THEM TO SEE IF THE DEALERSHIP WILLING TO WORK WITH THEM ON LOWERING THE PRICE, THE MANAGER WERE RUDE AND BASICALLY KICKED ME OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF OUR CONVERSATION WHEN I MENTION "OVERPRICED" AND THINKING OF SEEKING A "LAWYER" TO LOOK AT THE CONTRACT. THEY CALLED BACK 2 DAYS LATER AND ASK IF WE COULD COME BACK IN TO WORK WITH US? WE SHOWED UP THINKING THEY CHANGED THEIR MIND?. THEY OFFERED THE FAMILY A LOWER PERCENT INTEREST RATE FROM (11-6 PERCENTS) AND SHE ACCEPTED THE TERM. WHEN SHE SIMPLY ASKED IF THE FINANCIAL MANAGER (BRANDON) IF HE ABLE TO REMOVE THE EXTRA WARRANTY ($3500) TO SAVE SOME MONEY, WITHOUT HESITATION HE KICKED US OUT AND REFUSED TO WORK WITH US. HE ALSO CALLED US "NASTY". I'M NOT SURE WHY HE USE THAT TERM, WE WAS BEING PROFESSIONAL AND WAS SIMPLY ASKING A QUESTION. WE FEEL DISCRIMINATED BY HIS WORD AND ACTION TOWARD US. FYI, THEY SOLD A MAXIMA PLATINUM TO A 17 YEARS OLD GIRL AND FALSIFIED THE APPLICATION TO GET THEM INTO A VEHICLE THEY CANNOT AFFORD! IN ADDITION THE PUSHY CAR SALESMAN THEY PRESSURED THEM ON THE SALE ALONG WITH THE WARRANTY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF A NON ENGLISH SPEAKING FAMILY. THIS IS ALL ILLEGAL. WE WILL AND ALREADY REACHED OUT TO AN ATTORNEY OFFICE AND WILL SEEK LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THIS DEALERSHIP AND THE MANAGERS WHOSE WAS HOSTILE TOWARDS US.
