I increased my search to 200 miles and had 4-5 options. I decided to call on a car at AutoMax. Paul helped me with the options on the car and told me about the pricing policy. I drove down on a Saturday test drove and bought the car, Dan set up a great rate and I was on the road within 2 hours. I still needed to return once I received the plates from my state. I was able to get exactly the car and price I wanted. I would recommend to anybody to first do your homework, and than go see AutoMax. More

Excellent used car dealer. I drove an hour and a half because they had the hard to find cars I was looking for. I needed a hybrid for gas mileage and they had two great choices where I had difficulty fi because they had the hard to find cars I was looking for. I needed a hybrid for gas mileage and they had two great choices where I had difficulty finding these cars. I ended up going with a 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid and was thrilled with the quality and price of the car. Paul was a gentlemen throughout the process. There was no pressure and he was very helpful. I had not purchased a vehicle in over 10 years and was not looking forward to the experience. I did my research online and found that Automax had the best prices and their website was very comprehensive not looking forward to the experience. I was pleasantly surprised with the staff at Automax. Paul DiCarlo was the salesman. There were no pressure sales tactics at all. They answered all of my questions and provided all of the information that I needed to make my decision. The general manager, Tom Sullivan was also very friendly and helpful. Once I made the decision to purchase my vehicle, Al Huberman assisted me with the financing. I had done my research on rates, but he beat them all. He even let me take his only copy of the warranty home to review before I decided to purchase. Even after I had purchased my vehicle and they had the sale complete, Paul realized that there was no manual as it was a used car. He got me a manual with a case and dropped it off at my office. I believe that I got a very good vehicle at a good price. Paul, Tom and Al were awesome. I would recommend Automax to anyone. More

This is a great dealer because they are pleasant and professional to deal with. Even when my normally marvelous husband turned into a swaggering, arrogant, foul-mouthed, class A zipperhead, they maint professional to deal with. We had a very pleasant experience at this dealership. We had initially intended on buying a Nissan Rogue but we were absolutely in love when Paul DiCarlo showed us a Nissan Murano. There was no pressure to had initially intended on buying a Nissan Rogue but we were absolutely in love when Paul DiCarlo showed us a Nissan Murano. There was no pressure to buy either of the cars and Paul allowed my husband and I time to discuss the purchase and to make our decision. He didn't even hesitate when we asked to see some other cars before making our final decision. It was a very busy day in the dealership (Saturday) but we were only there for 2 hours and drove the car off the lot the same day. Everyone was extremely friendly and courteous. We would highly recommend this dealer to people who are looking for a no fuss, no gimmick, hassle-free experience! Dan Johnson was also extremely friendly and helpful with our purchase and helped us through the paper work process which ended up being painless and quick! Three women walk into a dealership. . . No this isn't a joke. Two of them were helping me look for a used car. Paul DiCarlo didn't even flinch. He was wonderful! Friendly, helpful, logical. We had narrowed our search down to three, and without pushing us one way or the other, Paul talked about the pros and cons of each and helped me to make a decision, after letting all of us go on test drives! Al was also fantastic! He managed to research my financial background, find a lender and do all that needed to be done so that I was able to drive home (to the western part of the state) that same afternoon! What a great deal that was! And Tom Sullivan was just plain entertaining! I loved not having to haggle, felt that they were very reasonable and gave me what my car was worth, and they were friendly and fun to deal with! It was the best experience I have ever had in buying a car!! More

I was planning on financing through my credit union at 3.5%, but Dan Johnson was able to meet that rate. The entire process was convenient and professional. What I really loved about AutoMax was that there was no sales pressure BS. When I told Brian I was only there to test-drive and check out the car I had an interest in he didnt even try to pressure me. He sales pressure BS. He showed me all the neat features on the car and basically thanked me for coming in without nagging follow-up calls after. When I returned at end of week for 2nd test-drive Brian was out of the office but Paul was quick to assist me, answering my questions and closing the sale. UPDATE: Chgd "Quality of Work" to a 5 since Brian & Paul were quick to ask the guys in Service to take care of the sticky residue on the trunk. Its all gone, got my inspection sticker and all is well. I also dont want to forget to thank Al for all his hard work in taking care of the financials and giving me a great rate on the financing.
