In late May I purchased a 2022 Legacy Touring XT from Colonial. They were fair and receptive vis-a-vis the price and valued my trade in within market parameters. I particularly enjoyed working with Pet Colonial. They were fair and receptive vis-a-vis the price and valued my trade in within market parameters. I particularly enjoyed working with Peter Paray, sales associate. He was accommodating and professional. A nice dealership which is highly recommended. More

Went well until the end I’ve recently purchased a brand new vehicle from Colonial Subaru. When walking into the dealership I was treated by Peter. Very nice gentleman and kno I’ve recently purchased a brand new vehicle from Colonial Subaru. When walking into the dealership I was treated by Peter. Very nice gentleman and knowledgeable. When I told him what I was looking for as well as my price range he immediately was seeking out the bigger price options. He was persistent that I buy the bigger model with all the bells and whistles. I declined and chose a different car. So at this point everything was going really well. Upon being contacted or updated on the status of paperwork and the car, Peter never seemed to be available, and if he called and I missed the call and tried to call back two minutes later he wasn’t available. Countless voicemails were left but 4-5 days later I received a call back. Now I understand people are busy, so I thought nothing of it. When he returned the call he told me when to come in. We arranged around 1:00 pm. Upon showing up at 12:50 PM. Peter was no where to be found. The receptionist was very nice and kept paging Peter. It was to my surprise when Peter emerged from the back room with his lunch box and told me he was taking his lunch now someone else will help me. So thirty minutes later I am finally greeted by the finance manager. We went over paperwork. When Peter returned he pulled up the car and had the tech assistant show me how to work everything. When going back in to finalize everything Peter was disinterested in talking and made it look like I was wasting his time. Was on his phone texting rather than interacting with the customer. I felt like once they had my money I was worthless. Upon agreeing to free service for the first 20,000 miles because it was a brand new car I was really sold on buying brand new rather than a pre owned if I got free service up front. So when leaving I asked Peter how to set the service dates up. He rolled his eyes and informed me that I never got any service packages. I told him I’m aware, you told me with buying a brand new car that you’d get free service up to 20,000 miles. He said that he would ask his manager and give me a call. This was over a week ago and I have not heard anything back. When I call I can never seem to get through to Peter or anyone. I had a great experience find a car and test driving. But closing the deal and picking up my car left a bad taste in my mouth. I don’t think I would recommend the dealership due to how I was treated at the end. It’s a shame, good location and selection but the employees or at least the ones I’ve dealt with are very unprofessional and do not make you feel valued at all. More

Disappointed I went to this dealership to test drive a Subaru Outback to replace my 2010 Legacy, which I also purchased from Colonial Subaru. I was introduced to I went to this dealership to test drive a Subaru Outback to replace my 2010 Legacy, which I also purchased from Colonial Subaru. I was introduced to Peter who suggested I drive a 2017 model that was being offered at a very attractive price. I drove the car, but felt it was too big for the type of driving I do (back and forth to NYC airports) and was uncomfortable driving it,. When I explained this to Peter he continued to tell me what a great car it was and said I would get used to the size. I then asked to drive the Cross Trek, which he arranged, however, unlike the Outback I had driven earlier, he did not take the time to warm up or defrosted the car for me. I liked the CrossTrek, and after the test drive, I tried to discuss my driving experience, but he only seemed interested in selling me the Outback. I do think the Subaru's are excellent vehicles and I've been generally happy with the service center at Colonial., however, I ended up purchasing a different brand from another dealership. More

He is easy going, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He is professional and honest and I felt very confident that I was making a good decision on the used Tribeca that I purchased. He went out of his way to get the car ready for pick up (around my schedule)! I also had the pleasure of working with Peter in sales and Erwin in Finance. I even had an after market product installed and had a wonderful experience in the service department. I cannot say enough positive things about this dealership. From dreading having to go out and purchase a car to walking out of Colonial Subaru happy! Thank you to Drew, Peter and Erwin in Danbury for a great experience! You are all terrific! More

It should always go this way I just bought a new Outback from these guys, drove it home tonight. Having not bought a new car for some time I was nervous about the experience. It h I just bought a new Outback from these guys, drove it home tonight. Having not bought a new car for some time I was nervous about the experience. It has probably been about a year of searching, first for the right car and then for the right dealer. Ultimately I went to a total of five Subaru dealers in the greater area just to feel out who I got the best vibe from and based on my experience with the team at Colonial finally decided to pull the trigger there. Well tonight my hunch proved to be 100% right on. These guys came through. The experience was super easy and pleasurable and they are true professionals. I had gotten a good deal and was nervous about a "bait and switch" but no such worries needed here. Honest, professional, good characters. Better than I thought it could be. I'd definitely recommend this dealership. More
