Peter started working in the restaurant industry in Connecticut when he was 11 years old. After college he was employed as the food and beverage director for Sugar Loaf Mountain near Leland, Michigan. He worked in Traverse City for the Park Place Hotel and the Best Western on the Bay before taking a job as a general manager for the Chi Chi's restaurant chain in Okemos and Lansing. He was chosen as National General Manager of the year two years in a row. He subsequently worked for the Gaslight Corporation in Chicago and Elgin, Illinois and in Palm Springs Resort in Palm Springs, California before returning to Michigan. He was in the hospitality industry for 30 years before joining Sundance as a sales person in 1993. Since 1993 Peter has sold over 7000 vehicles. Peter served in Vietnam. He and his wife, Richalene, live in Eaton Rapids. When not working at Sundance his interests are working out, riding his Harley, and taking his Great Dane, Diva to the beach.

Thankful I was in a pretty bad situation with some of my past vehicles and had accumulated a lot of negative equity. I checked with multiple dealerships and on I was in a pretty bad situation with some of my past vehicles and had accumulated a lot of negative equity. I checked with multiple dealerships and once they found out how much I still owed on my car i watched them take away discounts that were originally offered. I was very frustrated. Then I stopped in to Sundance in Grand Ledge. I was not expecting to strike a deal but Peter Tierney worked extremely hard to help me with my situation. We came up with a great solution and my family and I are very happy with our new 2018 Chevy Silverado. However, I was not pleased with the new car manager. Information was withheld until the deal was about to close. I decided to move forward but I did not appreciate how the sales manager handled that. I also believe my trade-in was undervalued but it was slightly higher than other dealerships so what can you do. All in all I had a great experience and was treated well and I am still thankful for the kindness and the help that our salesman Peter brought to the table. More

Pete T. was great! Pete Tierney was easy to work with and seemed honest and up front. Downside was the vehicle we went to look at had a dead battery and it took over 2 h Pete Tierney was easy to work with and seemed honest and up front. Downside was the vehicle we went to look at had a dead battery and it took over 2 hours to actually be able to test drive. This was totally out of Pete’s control so no fault to him. Just something the dealership can improve on. More
