I told the finance manager that I did not want the additional $2,500 benefit anti-theft protection on top of the gap insurance. The price for this was $399. He basically told me that the dealership sells this with every vehicle and it is not an option to remove it. Unfortunately I had to move forward with purchasing this add-on in order to lease this new car when I did not want this one bit. I live in a very safe neighborhood and I don’t think $399 for $2,500 in payout is a good investment for me. Other than this. My sales rep Peyton was great. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and straight to the point. We got things done quick. We twiddled our thumbs for a good amount of time just waiting for finance to let us in the office to sign the papers. Moral of the story here was that everything was awesome except for the delay and the additional “required” protection that I did not want. More
