I searched online for a reputable dealer and came across the reviews for Wantagh Mazda. Honestly at first we thought no way could a dealership be this good, the reviews must be padded. We decided to try it and I am so glad we did. The minute you walk in it's a relaxed atmosphere, no pressure. We were introduced to Phil. Nicest guy you ever want to meet. He let us test drive the Miata, He sat with us took his time , and went over prices and options. We left with all the info we needed to do our research and make sure this was the car for us. What I loved was not one follow up call to "check on us" . About two weeks later we came in again, test drove one more time and purchased the car. Everything went smooth, no hidden fees, the price was what Phil told us it was originally. We can't say enough about the experience or the dealership. We LOVE the car! More

This is my second new car purchase with Phil and it went as smooth and hassle free as the first (which was my biggest reason to come back). The dealer and Phil were terrific to work with.. Over the last 2 months I've come in to test drive the car I was thinking about several times. No issues at all; they just hand you the keys and let you test the vehicle on your own. Once you come back they ask if you have any questions but no pressure to sit down and deal.. Once I was ready (several weeks later), I came in and asked Phil for his "all in" price and was happy with his response, no haggling or painful negotiations required. I still wasn't ready to commit but since the specific car was in stock Phil asked if he could write up a purchase agreement to lock in the car; I didn't need to sign or give him a deposit, he just wanted to make sure that in a day or two if I wanted to move forward the car would be there for me. Of course two days later I called to finalize the agreement, and picked the car up the end of the week... Thanks Phil for once again making it real easy!! More

Every consumer can get their hands on this information, but it was refreshing that the dealer actually showed it to me. I really trusted him and decided to purchase the car the next day. They had the color/model I wanted on their lot--it had arrived the night before!--and I picked up the vehicle at 1 p.m. that afternoon--financing OK'd, new plates/registration, and insurance all handled by Phil in a matter of hours. This is my sixth new car purchase, and it was the smoothest--and fairest--I've ever experienced. I will not hesitate to recommend Wantagh Mazda and Phil Puelo to friends and colleagues. More
