The personalized service, recognition and just plain customer service declined drastically immediately after the purchase to the point I did not want to go there for anything I did not have to. I'd also had a bad experience at another 'large' dealer in the area. when we stopped at Bill Utter Ford, Phil immediately stopped what he was doing and introduced himself and just listened to us before suggesting anything. We were not really ready to buy and he did not pressure us. We spent some time looking, more time talking and listening to his suggestions; he vowed to research some vehicles for us on the web as they did not have anything we liked in stock. Short story long... when we got in our car to leave, both my wife and I looked at each other and said, "this is our new dealership". We have our new vehicle and the service level has not stopped. Excellent buying experience for my first truck. We were looking for a used truck within a specific price range for me to use in California where I am to based for the next three and half years. My father had spent countless hours on line looking for just the right truck. He was responding to an ad on facebook marketplace and reached out to Phil only to discover that your dealership was in no way affiliated with the ad. Phil qualified us as to what we were looking for and called late in the day on the same day and told us of this truck. We had been to several dealerships covered over 300 miles that day and were completely astonished when we arrived at your dealership to meet Phil and see the truck. It's as though it was fate the truck was everything we were looking for and more. My father has purchased many vehicles in his life and has even purchased one from your dealership in years past. His comment to me was he should just buy the truck for himself and find me another of course that wasn't going to happen. Had to take it back several times to get it right. My salesman Phil was great. But the the service department was not. They were to paint the bumper due to a blemish and clean out some mystery residue My salesman Phil was great. But the the service department was not. They were to paint the bumper due to a blemish and clean out some mystery residue in the trunk. When I got it back, the car was not painted correctly and trunk not cleaned. Car smelled like decay on the inside. Took it back for repaint and detail to get rid of residue and smell. Repaint done better but car detailing was shoddy i.e. streaks and missed dirt spots and the decay smell was still there. I ended up finding the smell in the car mats that had not been cleaned. I will throw them away and clean the trunk carpet they layed on to get ride of the residual smell. Seems like they were in a hurry and did not pay attention to details. More
