This dealership's favorable internet pricing is an illusion. The dealership will add $495 delivery fee for a used car plus an additional $695 for dealer preparation. This is averaged across all cars regardless of whether a delivery fee or any repairs were actually incurred by the dealership for the car of your interest and is not negotiable. Their ads should state both of these fees so your time is not wasted negotiating. The refuse to do any out-of-state sales and are completely misinformed regarding registration, taxation, and financing and how they interrelate. Basically, "pay our price plus our unreasonable fees, you must finance through us, and it must be simple". I found the used car Sales Manager to be unpleasant, defensive, and abrupt. Their use car sales is old school "horse trading" behavior without the benefit of actual negotiation. Don't waste your time. More

I have to say after buying cars for over 25 years this had to be one of the most disturbing experiences I have ever had. In fact I have never wrote a neg. review till now. I'll keep it simple. Wanted to rip me off, offered me 3K lees for my trade-in then two other Dodge dealers. Claimed the book they use is the book and that's the price. OK they use the same book as the other dealers and a close friend in the business. Then stared that cross out the price and write numbers raising the price they would give me, as we started to somewhat agree the salesman demanded I call my insurance agent and get ID cards for the car before I even speak the finance guy. Became very nasty when I refused and that nice friendly man showed his true colors. As I was walking out he started to change his tune saying "ok don't need the cards poppy," at that point we got up said good by and left. Its was like being back in the 90's with that back and forth meeting BS with the sales manager. Today I will drop my car off and pick up the car from another dealer, Even though the same model was $1000.00 more it was worth every penny not dealing with these pikers. More

Scam- added extended warranty price to car price, so if you cancel warranty you will NOT receive a full refund and they will not have to lose their profit. They also threaten to sue you if you cancel warranty. Teresa in financing makes you wait 5 hours before seeing her and then pulls this scam on you. They also say they do a 115 pt inspection on the car, not the one I got. I found out the back window was broken and then replaced because they left glass in the tailgate and grease and dirt all over. Tried to get someone to clean it, but since they made me wait 7 hours, the detailing department was gone for the day, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER! THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER they only care about making a dollar. More

It's hard to be kind when you are treated poorly, ignored, and lied to. I called, spoke to a salesperson who promised to call me back in five minutes. He didn't call back at all! I visited the dealership, found the vehicle I was interested in, and when we went to the sales office to discuss the vehicle, we found the door locked and everyone gone. We were in plain sight with the vehicle, the salesperson knew we were there for that vehicle and yet he locked the door and left without a word to us. When I called the following day, he told me he was with a customer and would call me back in 10 minutes. He never called back. I went back the dealership the following day. Not even did he not recognize me, but when I told him he failed to return my call twice, he was clueless, offering busy excuses. Yes, this was a used vehicle, not brand new, but it is still a sale and I expect to be treated like a valuable customer regardless of the purchase price. I asked in advance if this was 'one of those dealership that pile on the fees' and was told 'no.' A blatant lie as there were over $1500 in additional fees, including a Dealer Prep fee and the vehicle didn't have working hatch shocks! I wouldn't be surprised if there were more fees; my husband and I got up and left, leaving the next potential buyers questioning their place of purchase. Even though their price was quite good, I purchased my new used vehicle from East Hills Chevrolet in Roslyn and have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. No mountain of fees over the advertised price, they even negotiated down!, and I love my new used vehicle from them! More

This place is an unprofessional chop shop. Avoid it at all costs. I bought a CPO used Jeep Grand Cherokee from this dealership. After 2 weeks the car began to stall, and continued doing so about once a all costs. I bought a CPO used Jeep Grand Cherokee from this dealership. After 2 weeks the car began to stall, and continued doing so about once a week. Over the next 3 months, I brought the car into their service dept to "fix" the stalling issue 5-6 times. It continued stalling after every visit. They would not refund my purchase, at which point I filed a "lemon law" suit. The general manager was incredibly rude and unprofessional, basically calling me a "liar". I could not "prove" the car was stalling, so I did not win the lemon law suit. However, about a month later, the car died on the highway, at which point another dealership found water damage in the engine and considered it a "total loss". I honestly am infuriated just thinking about this dealership and the people running it. You could not pay me to walk back in there. More

Initial Salesperson (LONDON) was very nice but because he was busy with another customer - we ended w/ some ROB MERK character ... We were trying to purchase a used 2011 KIA SORENTO orig priced on interne was busy with another customer - we ended w/ some ROB MERK character ... We were trying to purchase a used 2011 KIA SORENTO orig priced on internet @ $15,995 - confirmed via email & phone call w/ Dan & Chris (INTERNET SALES DEPT) - when I arrived at dealership - was told that price was for those who financed (which was NOT stated on AutoTrader) ... price would being $16,800 = then they tacked on TRANSPORTATION FEE & DEALER PREP (an add'l $1100) = carfax showed the car came from 3 miles away @ AUTOWORLD KIA... Then they tack on add'l dealer / registration / ppwk fee and gas fee after all their fees + taxes - final price $19500 .... get to the final stages of signing ppwk after waiting 5 hrs for them to "prep" the car - we find that the "FINAL" price is $19,733 and then we were only getting 1 set of keys... We decided enough - we wanted to end the deal and get our money back - we have to hear the sales person complain how this was a complete waste of their time & effort (never mind we the customers that wasted 4-5 hrs waiting for them) and then the sales manager asks us "what the problem was" - as we try to respond - he doesn't like what he hears so he says "you talked yourselves out of the car" and when we wanted our $500 back - he responds beligerently with "our back office is gone-I don't have the ppwk to process refunds during the weekends only from MONDAY thru FRIDAY" ... Clearly this is a dealership that only prefers clients who are easily duped. The sales manager and this ROB MERK character lack the couth to understand that customers actually expect 2 sets of keys and for a difference of $400 on a purchase where customers already stepped up $1500 - who is really the one wasting whose time?? To the sales mgr - Mr. Cruz - you should consider yourself quite lucky my kids were with me because you truly deserve a tongue lashing for th rudeness and absolute lack of consumer insight to be a "sales" manager ... an etiquette lesson is definitely in order for both you and Mr. Merk ... Clearly - this is a dealership we are relieved our $19,500 did NOT go to fund... I am looking forward to the followup after filing my complaints with the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and CONSUMER AFFAIRS and JEEP CHRYSLER ... More

Rob m helped me thru the process of buying my new car from start to finish. he car was in pristine condition and priced well below book value. there were no hidden fees nor did anyone try to bait and swi from start to finish. he car was in pristine condition and priced well below book value. there were no hidden fees nor did anyone try to bait and switch. ob even took the time to set up delivery outside his normal hours i would definitely recommend town and country. I was very pleased with the experience I had at Town & Country Dodge. I worked with Rob M in pre-owned sales who made the entire process simple and got me a great deal. All the paperwork is lengthy when you buy a car but Rob explained all of it very clearly and concisely. He was also able to transfer plates, insurance, and handle financing for THREE cars (I swapped cars with a family member and used their old car as a downpayment for my new one) and he got everything moved correctly on the first try. Having dealt with the DMV and Insurance companies in the past I was VERY impressed with the ease that everything was completed. I would recommend that anyone looking to buy a pre-owned car give Rob a call at 516-286-4608 and make time to meet with him. More
