Horrible Customer Service Let me start by saying that this is the third car that I have leased from this auto group. First I leased a Nissan Rouge in 2013, then a Jeep in 2016 Let me start by saying that this is the third car that I have leased from this auto group. First I leased a Nissan Rouge in 2013, then a Jeep in 2016 and now a new jeep in September 2019. The first two experiences were wonderful. This one started the same. The salesman and sales manager worked to get me to the price that I wanted for the car that I wanted. However, service since then has been HORRIBLE and lacking in complete honesty. Before leaving the lot, there were scratches noticed on the hood and the rear passenger door was not aligned correctly, showing that the car was not clearly inspected by them first. I was told to make an appointment for service and they would fix it. I had to wait two weeks for an appointment and then my car was in the shop for over a week. I was told when I was signing the new lease that they would take care of all of the final costs for the previously leased jeep. I received a check from them for $651.33, which was to cover my final payment as well as over mileage. In November I received a bill from my previous lease company for $1049. This included a $395 lease termination fee. Never once in the four hours spent at the dealership did anyone mention that there would be additional fees that I would be responsible for on my previous lease. All I was told was all final costs would be handled. When I reached out to Route 46 Chrysler Jeep Dodge I was asked to send them a copy of my bill. I did and received an email saying that there was no error made on their part. I called my salesman on Monday November 18 and discussed the fact that there was NEVER a mention of additional costs that I would have to pay. Seeing as this dealership set me up with the lease they should have been aware and informed me. I stated simply that this is terrible customer service and very misleading. As a customer, I do not appreciate this and will take this into consideration when this lease is up and I am looking for a new car. I was told a note would be left for the manager to return my call. By Saturday 11/23 I had not received a call back. So I called, waited on hold for 5 minutes and then was told that I would receive a call back that day. This was at 3:30 and the dealership closes at 8. By 7:30 still no call, so I called back one last time and requested to simply wait on hold this time instead of waiting until Monday. I waited on hold for a total of 45 minutes and 12 seconds; they hung up on me. Sadly, this experience and absolutely terrible customer service has encouraged me to take my business elsewhere and I would recommend that others do the same. More

Never going to this dealer again This is the worse place I have ever been to, they are snobby, they don't get back to you at all, and they are very judgmental. Shady tactics So I had a Nissan Murano...lease was going to end in 4 months...I made an appt w RJ since someone recommended him. Since my lease was from a Route 46 So I had a Nissan Murano...lease was going to end in 4 months...I made an appt w RJ since someone recommended him. Since my lease was from a Route 46 dealership I thought this one ( Rt 46 Jeep) would work on paying off last 4 months since that’s the offer I received from Rt 46 Nissan. RJ said yes, so I went in and this guy was just rolling last months into new contract. Lol Be straight up and honest man. Then he got his boss and talked to me, a 51 year old man, like I was a kid. His words, “What do you wanna do?” Professional. Anyways, I’ve always had great experiences w their part and service...but this is the 2nd time I’ve had a distasteful experience w sales. Btw, ended going back to Rt 46 Nissan and got into another car. More

Really good Everyone was really friendly. RJ did not let me leave till I was happy with the price. Had a few hiccups along the way but he checked un with me and Everyone was really friendly. Even with the busyness of the dealership he still did his best to ensure I was completely satisfied with my purchase. Waste of time. Don't go in for a deal. Went in to purchase a vehicle and let extremely offended and pissed off. When I go to negotiate the manager basically tells me I'm an idiot for trying to get the at a lower listing price. Meanwhile the car is a year old and has 8k miles on it and again isn't selling oh and there is another year old brand new Durango sitting on the show room floor again clearly not selling. He is extremely confrontational and needs a lesson in selling a car. To think I was going to buy a car from these guys and also refer my dad who is in the market for a pick up. Guess it won't be a Dodge. Hope the general manager of this place sees this because you seriously need to fire this guy. He did all this in front of other customers as well. Horrible way to treat a customer who would have potentially purchased a 50k car that has been sitting for half a year. Good luck Dodge of Rockaway. More
