BUYER BEWARE. I have a 2023 Range Rover Sport that was rendered completely inoperable by the vehicle’s OWN security system. Both smart keys were deactivated simultaneously with zero warning. When I contacted the dealer they immediately quoted me $3,000 for a new KVM module replacement. After I pushed back and contacted Land Rover corporate they suddenly dropped it to $640. My car is still under full factory warranty and this is a known design defect across all 2022+ Land Rover vehicles. They tried to take advantage of me and charge $3,000 for a software issue on a car that is still under warranty. Do not let them upsell you on expensive hardware replacements before attempting a software reactivation first. I have an open corporate case and BBB complaint filed. Land Rover needs to do better by their customers. Be aware and do your research before authorizing any repairs. More
