Never Buy a Used Car from Findlay Chrysler Bought my 2014 Ram 1500 about a month ago. After the first weekend of having it was having issues with the Air suspension. The main question about the truck i had for Ryan was the Air Suspension. I continue to still have issues with it and all Ryan would help me do is get an appointment to get it serviced that i would have to pay for even after he and his sales manager assured me they have not heard of any issues with it. Now i am taking it to my dealer to get it fixed since it has zero suspension in it now. So until i can get it fixed i have a 30K paper weight that cannot be driven because it has no suspension. Haven't even made my first payment on it and now i get to spend who knows how many thousands to get it fixed. So thank you Findlay Chrysler for saying whatever you needed to sell your vehicles. This will be the last one i ever buy from you. More

Excellent price & fair offer for trade. Let’s begin by saying that we have a little experience with buying cars. Within the past three years we have sold or traded eight vehicles and purcha Let’s begin by saying that we have a little experience with buying cars. Within the past three years we have sold or traded eight vehicles and purchased six from different dealers. We live about an hour and twenty minutes from Findlay Chrysler and we had never heard of them prior to them showing up during our car search. Their website had the best price on a low mileage, well-equipped 2016 GMC Yukon Denali ($5K under KBB). Salesman Ryan Lunn took our call when we contacted the dealership. He was only three months on the job and a bit green, but to his credit he got us to “yes” fairly quickly when we had only come to check out the deal. We had not arrived until a little after 5 PM and Findlay Chrysler was closing at 7 PM plus they were busy. In spite of the vehicle not being well prepped (detailed for sale), we felt it would meet our needs. This would be the sixth GMC Yukon we’ve owned, so we knew what we were buying. I pointed out to Ryan that the “check wheel monitor” sensor was on the dash and should be checked out. It was a minor issue, but he said he would have service do that. Also, we found that there was only one “smart” key fob for the vehicle. Still, the deal was a good one and we just wanted to secure it with a deposit and come back to finish things up the next day. It was late and we had not brought the finances with us, etc. Ryan was insistent that we could finalize everything yet that night and we just needed to wait for their finance guy (of which there were two). Even after two more hours of waiting (9 PM) Ryan remained very courteous and attentive although he was also finishing another sales at the same time. We ended up being the last customers served that night. It took only minutes once we finally did see their finance guy. We did not take the vehicle with us that night since we needed to return with a check. Also, Ryan did fill the fuel tank and was going to have their service people look at the “check wheel monitor” sensor issue in the morning. It was a very long night, but not the worse “finalizing the deal and the paperwork” phase we’ve ever been through. Again, the deal was very, very good and truly overshadowed everything else. Ryan was off the next day (his birthday – congratulations) and matters were left to others in his absence. This was where things did not go so well. When I arrive the next afternoon to drop off the vehicle we were trading, drop off the check, finalize the financials and pick up the new vehicle I asked the financial guy if the “check wheel monitor” sensor had been checked out. He knew nothing about this of course. I was told they would have to ask “service”. We took care of financials and when I was finishing up with the people providing the receipts I again asked about the “check wheel monitor” and the fellow that was with me just headed down to their service department. After some time I realized that he wasn’t coming back. I still didn’t have keys for the vehicle I’d purchased and no one seemed concerned that I was standing around. Eventually I caught the eye of a salesman who had the (one) key fob for my vehicle. We traded keys and that was it. The vehicle we bought was never moved from the spot that we parked it the night after we test drove it. Not that it was real dirty, but it wasn’t cleaned up as one would expect “for delivery”. It wasn’t even brought around for me. That’s never happened before, ever. Of course, the “check wheel monitor” lite was still on. Later this week, after I had ordered on-line and received a replacement “smart” key fob (about $90) for the vehicle, Ryan called to tell me they had found the second fob. To their credit Findlay Chrysler sent it USP and the second key fob just arrive. Thanks Ryan! By the way, Monro cleared the “check wheel monitor” message and it hasn’t returned (no charge). To summarize, we were looking for the best “financial” deal on a “fresh” 2016 GMC Yukon Denali and that’s basically what we got from Findlay Chrysler. We not only saved more than $3K compared to any other similar vehicle available in our search area, it had more features and lower miles. In addition, Findlay Chrysler made a good offer for our trade ($2K above what some others had offered). All and all, it was about a $5K better overall deal than any other one we had seen in the past month. To be fair, our distance from this dealer makes it unlikely that we will be returning for service, etc. However, compared to other car buying experiences we’ve had, Findlay Chrysler’s location is fairly easy to find by GPS, they answered phone questions well, their reception people were very friendly and attentive, and their sales representative, Ryan did a good job keeping us there and making the sale, but dropped the ball on following through having the vehicle ready for us. To his credit, Ryan did make sure we got the second smart key for the vehicle. On the second day, without Ryan being there, Findlay Chrysler wasn’t unfriendly, but they seemed inattentive and a bit dismissive. Perhaps they were just busy. More

And not only did I get the vehicle I wanted, but the monthly payments were even less than what was originally agreed upon!
