Ralph went to ECSU in 1980. He loved the area so much, he bought land and built a log home for his wife, Carol, and daughter Angelika. Ralph has been at Gates since 1998! As far as cars go, Ralph's father tells him that he wouldn’t stop talking about them at 3yrs old, and nothing has changed since! He bought his first car at 13 years old; a 1965 Corvair convertible, and sold his first car at age 14. Ralph has personally owned over 100 vehicles! He lives, eats, and breathes the automobile. Ralph has been working here at Gates since February of 1998. He looks forward to selling you your next vehicle; "Here at Gates, we have the right vehicle at the right price!"

The sales ppl were friendly and attentive to our needs. They wanted to go above and beyond to get our business. One example of this is allowing us to take the vehicle we were interested in and bring it wi They wanted to go above and beyond to get our business. One example of this is allowing us to take the vehicle we were interested in and bring it with us to another dealer to help compare. they also understood comcerns about mechanical issues we pointed out and were happy to address them and correct them even though some items did not fail on the inhouse safety check. As for the price we give a 4 because we met half way on a price that was offered by another dealer on a comparable vehicle. If we had settled on the sme price we would have given a 5. As for the 4 in quality of work, the vehicle was not ready when it was supposed to be and the cleaning was not 100% (even noticed by the salesman). More

Ralph's energy, enthusiasm and complete knowledge of the car made him fantastic to work with every step of the way. We first stopped in on a Sunday thinking that the dealership would be closed and we could car made him fantastic to work with every step of the way. We first stopped in on a Sunday thinking that the dealership would be closed and we could just look at the Altima's without being bothered. We didn't realize that in fact you were open. Ralph walked up and asked if we needed any assistance or did we want to just be left alone to browse. I instantly liked his approach and it changed my mind about just browsing and we ended up taking a test drive that Sunday and ultimately buying the car we tested. More

Ralph never leads his custormer on , honest and straight forward , should be better taken care of by the dealership, it is very hard to get employes these days that are like him. Should be better programs forward , should be better taken care of by the dealership, it is very hard to get employes these days that are like him. Should be better programs for long term employies, desk placement should be back out front or his own office.. The back corner is not apealing to the customor. I know about sales have been self employed for my whole life in sales. Service need to work better with sales, I see things posted that the two departments should share. More
