Service advisor was rude I went in for service on my 2018 Corrolla and was greeted by Raymond Persaud. He was polite and efficient in getting me set up for service.(oil change I went in for service on my 2018 Corrolla and was greeted by Raymond Persaud. He was polite and efficient in getting me set up for service.(oil change) He advised me that someone would come get me from the waiting area when my car was ready. For approximately 1 1/2 hours I watched as service writer after service writer came into the waiting area and personally talked to every customer that they were looking for and explaining to them issues with their car or just simply letting them know their car was finished and escorting them to the cashier or the area where their car was parked. I then received a phone call from Oscar Johnson and was told my car was ready and that I could come to the cashier to get my keys. (how personable) I went to the cashiers area and see Oscar putting my keys on the counter with the service ticket. I approached him and asked for my keys and also had a question about my cars maintainance timer. Since the life time oil changes do not include tire rotations and the dealer only changes the oil every 10,000 miles and the computer is set at a 5,000 mile alert, I asked him what could be done to silence the alert at 5,000 miles he told me to just (GOOGLE IT) or he guessed that I could ride by the dealership. (real Professional) I guess we don't mean much since we're there for the free oil change. Oscar could use some customer relations training from the other service writers. More

Oil change. I drove in for an oil change with no appt.. I have always had great service. Raymond was very knowledgeable and helpful. He recognized me immediate I drove in for an oil change with no appt.. I have always had great service. Raymond was very knowledgeable and helpful. He recognized me immediately as I have dealt with him numerous times. I try to use with him when I can. Also Reid is another service manager with whom I have dealt with in the past and he is also extremely helpful. I appreciate both of them with their experience and assistance. They both always keep me informed of my vehicle status and any other issues or service needed in the future. I would highly recommend both of them. P.S. I do not Facebook. More

Second trip for brake job-last trip to McDonough Toyota I had my brakes done at Jim Ellis Toyota of McDonough about 3 weeks ago and after driving the car for a day or so I noticed a squeaking, rubbing sound I had my brakes done at Jim Ellis Toyota of McDonough about 3 weeks ago and after driving the car for a day or so I noticed a squeaking, rubbing sound. I thought maybe the new brake pads had to wear in so I made note to keep an eye on it. Fast forward a few weeks and the sound was still there so I made an appointment for a recheck with the service provider I had initially. I get to the dealership for service yesterday and was told that there would be a $130 diagnostic charge! After explaining that I was there for a recheck of work performed at that same dealership weeks earlier my new service provider removed the charge and then informed me that I would have a 3 hour wait even though I had an appointment! Anyway, they ended up getting my car back to me a little earlier than projected and was told that my parking brake pin and spring was loose and it had been tightened and greased but the noise is still there. I’m going to have my family mechanic check it out when I go home for thanksgiving next month. I feel like I drove 35 minutes away from home paid a lot of money for lost time and brakes that may be incorrectly installed... I will be having another Toyota dealership service my car going forward. More

Routine maintenance/oil change Everyone is very friendly... but it takes sooooo long just for an oil change. Even with appointments scheduled, the first time I was there 3 hours and Everyone is very friendly... but it takes sooooo long just for an oil change. Even with appointments scheduled, the first time I was there 3 hours and then on Monday it took 2 hours. Then I was told I have to bring the 4 runner back again for a recall. Again, the folks are very nice, but service is incredibly slow. More
