Following a thorough investigation into your recent service visit, I would like to clarify the billing and repair process regarding your vehicle. All primary repairs performed during your visit were addressed under existing manufacturer recalls at no cost to you. Regarding the additional maintenance recommendations, these were evaluated by Nissan North America and determined to be unrelated to the active recall items; consequently, coverage for those specific repairs was declined. As you also elected not to proceed with these additional services at the time, no charges were incurred for those items. The balance on your account pertains solely to the rental vehicle provided during the service period. While Nissan covered the initial rental costs, the additional 7 days charge resulted from the vehicle being kept beyond the completion date due to your travel schedule. Which we covered up to the initial date of your return. Our service team discussed these supplemental rental costs with you at the time to ensure transparency regarding the extended duration
