Richard brings to BMW of Rochester Hills over 24 years of experience in the automotive industry, with time spent in sales and management positions for Bentley, Lamborghini, Lincoln and Rolls-Royce. Richard is very passionate about vehicle performance and is a big part of the M culture here at BMW of Rochester Hills. As a Certified M-Car specialist, he excells in driving and track events so be sure to ask him about some of the events and memorable drives he has put together for past clients. Richard and his family reside in Sterling Heights with 2 daughters who attend college at Michigan State University. In his down time, Richard can be found shooting Sporting Clays or working on his pinball game collection. Taking the time to write a review tends to be just such for me… time taken… BUT when I have an exceptional experience as I recently did with the purch Taking the time to write a review tends to be just such for me… time taken… BUT when I have an exceptional experience as I recently did with the purchase of my Certified Pre-Own 2011 BMW 328 xi coupe from BMW of Rochester Hills…. I felt strongly that a truly appreciative review was well earned by the professionals at the store. Having a tendency, desire and ability to change vehicles often over the last many years, I have experienced the full gamut of the good, bad and ugly of car shopping and ‘dealing’ with the various ‘personalities’ at dealerships. To keep this brief as the detail of the aforementioned experiences could be a subject of a book – that aside my search via the internet for the specific vehicle I now own, led me to Richard Bell, client advisor at the store. He was prompt with a real time reply to my internet inquiry (most still use auto replies…why I don’t know as just about the entire world has a mobile smart phone) and followed up to set an appointment with me to see the vehicle the following week when I was scheduled to be in town. The significance of this point is that I was going to be driving 4 hours from my home in Traverse City to Detroit Metro. When I arrived at the store I was genuinely impressed at how all the pre owned inventory was lined up and spotless with proper pricing clearly marked on each unit – basically ready to drive home. Always a good sign of how well a store is managed, which was confirmed once I introduced to Matthew Vazana the General Sales Manager, who is very professional and a very knowledgeable on the BMW product along with his many years of high line automotive experience. Working with Richard was truly enjoyable as he is a major car enthusiasts coupled with being absolutely committed towards providing his client full and undivided attention throughout the entire transaction. This may seem like an obvious expectation but has not been my experience to often with my previous vehicle purchases at other dealerships over the recent years. The best way for me to sum up my experiential transaction with him and the other team members met as part of the purchase process – absolute transparency, very clear and solid communication. Overall it was a completely stress free and highly recommend this store and Richard to anyone reading this review who is considering either a new or pre-owned BMW – regardless of driving distance. Make the call and take the drive as it is hands down the best and worth it when considering spending / investing in a BMW. I was also pleased to have been taken by Richard through the dealership to meet the service department advisor and also parts department as well. In fact even though I have a BMW dealership in my town, I will plan to take my car to Rochester Hills for all its service needs, that just how welcomed and comfortable I felt with all the team members throughout the store. More

I am an out of state buyer and I am used to TERRIBLE service from the BMW Peoria Dealership. Working with Richard Bell was completely the opposite.... very very helpful, timely high quality follow up, e service from the BMW Peoria Dealership.
