I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Heritage Volkswagen Catonsville. My 2013 Volkswagen CC was towed to the dealership for a no-start condition and remained there for 33 days. During Heritage Volkswagen Catonsville. My 2013 Volkswagen CC was towed to the dealership for a no-start condition and remained there for 33 days. During that time, the dealership acknowledged that the passenger-side frameless windows were not properly sealed when the vehicle arrived. Despite that known condition, the vehicle remained stored outside for over a month. They did the diagnostic in the parking lot because the service manager Samantha said it would take too much to push it inside of the garage bay. When I received my vehicle back, I discovered water intrusion damage and passenger-side electrical components that were no longer functioning. Rather than addressing my concerns or submitting the matter to their Garage Keeper’s Liability insurance carrier for review, the dealership denied responsibility and attributed the issue to a prior water leak. What disappointed me most was not just the denial, but the lack of accountability and blame shift. I expected a dealership representing the Volkswagen brand to take reasonable steps to protect a customer’s vehicle while it was in their care or, at the very least, conduct a fair and independent review of the damage. Because we have been unable to resolve this matter, I am escalating my concerns to MileOne Autogroup Corporate, Volkswagen of America, and pursuing my legal options. I encourage anyone leaving their vehicle here for an extended period to thoroughly document its condition before dropping it off and to request updates on where and how it is being stored. More
