The sales rep, Rich, was able to provide a decent offer; however, he changed the terms ahead of me signing a new contract and I highly recommend people go elsewhere. After negotiating both at the dealership and extensively communicating via phone and text, I agreed to terms on a deal with Rich, which included the dealership taking my current lease, which they noted they'd "have no problem reselling at auction." Yet, when I arrived to sign paperwork (after running my credit and coordinating with my insurance company to source a new policy), Rich first tells me that his team is "mad that I'm there and hates the deal I got because it's too good" - interesting sales tactic considering I'm about to give them my hard-earned money - and then changes some terms on the spot, including the dealership no longer agreeing to take my current lease, as well as tacking on the DMV fees separately. I've since been to a few other dealerships and they all noted this was a shady tactic used to tried to recoup some money. I didn't appreciate the last minute changes and trying to be taken advantage of, so I left. I highly recommend going elsewhere as this dealership lacks integrity and tries to simply "get you in the door" to continue negotiating even after terms are agreed to. Not worth the headache. More

Honestly a 1 is to good for this dealership . They are rude and don’t care about the customers . They lie But I guess that’s my fault I should have known better to buy a Chrysler product because They are rude and don’t care about the customers . They lie But I guess that’s my fault I should have known better to buy a Chrysler product because they don’t stand behind their cars or trucks they always are breaking down. The BBB should shut the doors on this place. Their are a lot of places shutting down theses people should appreciate what they have because without the customers you guys don’t have a job. But with what I have seen in this company no one cares. Poor managements & employees and far from being qualified to fix anything Buyers BEWARE !!!!! Go else where nothing but a headache More

Rich Jest was a pleasure to work with. After having discouraging experiences at other dealerships recently, I mentioning my frustration and he was able to assess my situation and get the job done in a discouraging experiences at other dealerships recently, I mentioning my frustration and he was able to assess my situation and get the job done in a timely manner. I walked in and told him what I was looking for and he took my phone number down and a few more details and told me to go to work and he would call Me with a result. A man of his word, within an hour he called with results! He had my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Waxed and ready to go by the time I was returning home from work. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a non BS approach to selling a car. hands down the best experience I’ve had in the 20 yrs I’ve been leasing cars. More

Monday, September 28th, I walked into Chrysler dodge jeep RAM dealership of route 4 Paramus, NJ, with all intent of purchasing a second vehicle for my birthday. I walked into this dealership and was not gre RAM dealership of route 4 Paramus, NJ, with all intent of purchasing a second vehicle for my birthday. I walked into this dealership and was not greeted or acknowledged, that until a male, I assume, a sales advisor, asked, "you need any help?," as he was leaning forward on a counter with both arms folded. Having worked in customer service for 17 years, I did not expect that entry, however, i responded, "that will be nice." He then approached my father and I, and asked, "what are you looking for?" I responded that I was looking for a jeep wrangler but not sure if I would be leasing or financing at the moment, I wanted to see what my options were both with jeep wrangler availability and financially. The, assuming, sales advisor, told me to follow him to the lot, where he pointed out the only vehicles that can be leased. I asked a few questions, as i felt i had to dig for infornation about the vehicle and he consistently repeated my questions back to me, as if the information should be obvious to me. I was bothered but brushed it off. We happened to come across a color that has always sparked my interest, sarge green. I shared with him that this was my favorite color for a jeep wrangler and he immediately requested that we go start the paperwork. Now, given this not being my first car purchase rodeo, I was expecting the option of test drive, and the details of pricing to be shared, and the features of the 2020 model, but I did not recieve any of that, we were going straight inside to discuss money, as if I would be wasting his time if otherwise. In the uncomfortable walk back, as it felt rushed, my father, a Mercedes benz owner for over 20 years, looked at the prices and jokingly shared that I might as well buy a benz like him. The, assuming, sales advisor, sat me inside, and before my father's entry, said "i guess your father does not want you to buy a jeep, he keeps talking about a benz." I explained to him that my father is joking and that I've loved and wanted a jeep wrangler since I was 3 years old. This was the first small talk I had ever gotten from the, assuming, sales advisor. He then asked for what I was looking to put as a downpayment, how much I wanted to spend a month and for my ID and turned the computer screen around and told me to input my information "to start the process," as he walked off with my ID to discuss "what he can do" for me, pricewise. Because i felt the, assumed, sales advisor was so short, dismissive, aggressive, and he did not even share his name, I felt uncomfortable inputting my information on to his computer screen, and regretful for giving up my ID. Suddenly i felt an urge to leave, but I had to retrieve my ID first. I approached the, assumed, sales advisor at the desk and told him I never got his name, and he finally shared that his name was Rich after already been dealing for about 20 to 30 minutes. I explained to Rich that I wanted to explore my options and look elsewhere, when I was cut off before asking for my ID back and told "well before you skate on out of here, let me see what i can do first, just fill out the information on the screen so we can make it happen." Now with Rich having my ID, and I, trying to avoid feeling even more uncomfortable than I was at the time, I turned around and retreated back to my seat, but refused to input my information for fear of running my credit without full knowledge of anything pertaining to the vehicle. My father eventually comes inside after looking around the lot and asked me to look at the sarge green Sahara displayed inside the dealership that had the powertop we had been discussing. I followed my father, and finally expressed my uncomfortability that he has yet to witness while still in the lot, but I also shared that maybe I was reading into it. Richard returns, and I say, "Rich, out of curiosity, how much would I have to put down on this, with my said credit score, in order to pay $440 a month?" He responds, "if you're trying to only put down $3,000 you can't manage this." My father says, "it's not a matter of what she can or cannot manage, she asked you a question, is it possible to find out how much can be put down for that monthly amount leased?" Rich responds, "it doesnt make any sense to check, it will be a waste of time, but if you want me to check I'll check, you'll probably be looking at $600 or $700 a month." At this point Rich handed my ID and I said, "Rich, I'm sorry for wasting your time, but I'm going to explore other options as I've said before." He said, "Well, I just dont understand what your looking for, is it the price or is it the car, because I could tell you now, I've been doing this for 8 years and what you're doing doesnt make sense to me." I was taken aback by the choice of response from Richard, as a, assumed, sales advisor, nothing about my experience seemed right, I couldnt quite pinpoint what made me so uncomfortable until he made it more apparent at that point. This was the most Rich spoke to me as his customer, and his end response totally disdisappointed me. I responded with, "theres a method to my madness." He was then eager to get his business card to give me, but not without saying that I will come back because everything out there did not measure up to what he could offer me. Overall, Richard I felt very small dealing with you, funny enough I know how the system goes with car sales, hence why I brought my father along, being that my husband had to work, which i am now grateful for. I am very well aware that the car business is a male dominated industry, as much of its knowledge is practiced by men, however, I did not expect to be dealt with in such a condescending way. Every question i asked, you responded as if I was incompetent, lacked intellect, or that having me as a customer was beneath you. I went to hyandai at Paramus years ago and they dealt with me with so much respect, and coached me through the new car purchase process, but you, you did not even share your name within 30 minutes of our encounter. I've dealt with used car salesmen who did a better job than you did. You did not build a relationship, engage, create morale, and certainly did not advise, yet you acted as though you were the top sales men in route 4 CDJ, maybe you are. You knew so much with your 8 year experience but shared so little, and was so dismissive. This dealership had 2 vehicle options I would've chosen to purchase, but your short attitude ran, better yet, "skated" me away. I ended up going to autoland and purchasing a 2021 jeep wrangler, not of the color I wanted but certainly for the right price and the best customer service. You were right about one thing Richard, they did not have the stock of jeep wrangler route 4 had, but the consistency the gentlemen there had was remarkable. Richard, if your service at route 4 represents your team, I would really reconsider the training, and maybe with the advisement of Autoland. The gentlemen there made sure to contact me when they restocked a couple weeks later, and even though I, unfortunately, came in around closing, they still went above and beyond and never rushed the process, they stayed true to the journey of sales. I am almost certain these are not qualities you possess. I was greeted by every single person of employment there, even the ones that had a customer in front of them. Mike at autoland was the best sales advisor and you can tell the morale was built from management all the way to sales and service advisors. Each manager, Jerome, Anthony and Steve, helped me out in every way without me ever having to ask, whether it be conversation about my love for a wrangler, the advise for the purchase that best suits my lifestyle, the comparisons of other brand vehicles, to their experience working in the bronx and their vacations in Jamaica. Might i add, these were all conversations before, during and after I handed over the downpayment, I say that to speak on their genuinity. I am very happy with my new jeep wrangler and iI certainly am pleased with the end result of service I recieved. I wanted to make sure you did not get a penny off of my purchase, i am sure you will be able to catch someone else, but not with my hard earned money or service. It's funny you use the term "bothersome" whether that be a generic email or not, because you certainly made it clear that that was what I was to you on that monday afternoon. Also, the one thing you stayed true to was being "straightforward," even if it did jeopardize your ability to give "the best service... in a professional way." To answer your question, because of what I shared in this email, I will not be interested in pursuing a vehvehicle at route 4, and certainly not with the kind of service you provide. More
