There was a situation which developed due to a mix up regarding a price reduction involving several used vehicles that had "been on the lot for a while". Schedules were rearranged in order for us to be able to afford the time to make an almost 3 hour drive to the dealership merely to be told that we would not be able to complete a purchase of a vehicle at a reduced price that was quoted in writing and over the phone. We returned home feeling angry and like we had wasted the day driving as well as the gas it took to make the round trip. There were several emails and phone messages that took place over the course of the next week or so regarding a solution to how this situation was being handled. The management came together and decided that this was not the way they had wanted to lose a potential customer. Randy Carmichael was the salesman that went to bat for us. He said that he would use his 20+ years experience to get us the best deal that he could possibly get towards making this transaction a positive experience for all involved. While communication through emails was overseen by Lucas Baxter, both men were wonderful in keeping us in the loop as they worked to get us a deal. Chris Glover (pre-owned sales manager) and Rick Hamilton (general manager) took this straight to the top and spoke with Pete Moore regarding what they wanted to do to get us the deal we were originally quoted. A few days later we received a new offer regarding the truck and trade in allotted for my car that was more than fair. Needless to say, that we returned to their dealership and left with a newer vehicle and couldn't be happier about the decision to do business with the staff of Pete Moore Chevrolet and pre-owned cars and trucks. When we are in need of a new van to replace the SUV that I currently drive, I know that we will be contacting Randy and the rest of the staff that made our newer vehicle purchasing experience a pleasant and positive lasting impression. I was a bit nervous as I was purchasing my vehicle sight unseen; however, both Rick and Ben made the process easy and seamless. They are extremely trustworthy individuals who kept me informed of the process every step of the way, from financing to arranging the delivery of the vehicle to my front door 9 1/2 hours away at a very competitive price. The car that was delivered to my front door, was even better than I was expecting, the pictures did not do this car justice!! I was blown away with the level of customer service I received throughout this entire process. Both Rick and Ben were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to get me my car. I didnt think it would be a go because my credit isnt the best , but Charlie hung with me as well as Rick Hamilton and got my deal thru. Even when I had given up these guys hung in there working my deal... and now Im the proud owner of a NEW CAMERO. After sale was complete i was introduced to the Service Dept. Matter of fact , I took my car the following morning ( FOR AIR ONLY) and they were great, polite and made me truly feel like a customer not a burden .
