Excellent low pressure buying experience Stopped by Greentree after dinner one evening just to take a look at their inventory of Tacoma trucks. It was already dark out, however Rick Reid noticed me and came out. I explained I was just looking - no plan to make a purchase for another month or so. He completely understood but still took the time to show me every single new and used truck on the lot. He explained the features of each, pricing, and potential payments of each truck. He made some suggestions of research I should do with regards to trim levels, financing, and leasing. We shook hands and I left with a business card. Continued to walk other dealers inventories throughout CT / NY. Although I was just looking, some of these dealers asked for my contact information, wanted to run my credit first, or put a small cash hold down immediately. A couple months of looking and I decided to contact Rick about two trucks in particular they had in stock. Rick sent me an email about these trucks; and I was ready to make a purchase. the low pressure sales continued over the next couple days while he worked out the deal. When I came in to finalize our arrangement, sign the paperwork, and pick up my new truck - I was sent into the finance office. I thought "ok this is where they are going to hit me". However, the low pressure sales still continued. Kasey Curran asked a few questions about the use of my new truck and explained what few warranty and options he suggested would fit my needs. He left the decisions completely up to me - didnt push anything at all. We were done quickly and my new truck was waiting outside. Rick made sure I was familiar with the use of the truck and I drove off the lot happy. Thanks guys for making this a pleasant buying experience. More
