Bought a used car and it all went well enough. Quick response from a sales rep following my online enquire. Set up a vehicle inspection time that was convenient for me. This was easy. People were friendly and helpful in test driving the car and through the price negotiation phase. They accommodated my request to pick up the car the following week. Easy enough at pick up, and a friendly farewell. This would be a 5 star review, however there were a few problems. First, when I got the car they hadn’t placed the temporary license plate on the vehicle, and the registration details weren’t provided to me (not at purchase, or at pick-up, or left in glove box). Only when I got home did I realise. I called up and they emailed me the temporary plate to print and affix myself. Second, nobody explained to me the process with transferring title and registration. I’m new to Texas via Australia and it would’ve reduced stress to know Five Star Subaru would do all this for me. Only after follow-up calls did I get the info I needed. Both times the person I spoke to was friendly, helpful and apologetic. These are attention to detail issues. Overall, I was still pleased with my experience. More
