My first and second trip to Toyota of Richardson were TERRIBLE! Robert helped me on my third trip there and he was truly AMAZING! I wished he had been the first salesperson to help me, but I guess third time is the charm! He was patience, kind and very helpful. He treated me like a friend vs a sale. He answered all my questions and gave me the time to make my own decision vs pressuring me into deciding on the spot - this was something I greatly appreciated it. I purchased the vehicle he helped me with because he was so AWESOME! I was not able to pick it up right away because the bumper needed to be repainted. When I came back to pick up my vehicle the repaint job was not done properly. He went above and beyond to get it corrected. He was very accommodating during the whole process. He turned my terrible experience into a WONDERFUL one and I cannot thank him enough! THANK YOU, ROB! More

When he found out we intended to purchase quickly if the price was right, he got our truck ready for pickup fast. When we had a question about anything, he had an answer —or he’d find one. We usually wait to write dealer/car reviews in case there’s another foot to drop, there wasn’t in this case. He did great and the truck is terrific!! More

The dealership won’t conduct business with out of town banks and didn’t mention anything….until my bank sent the drafting instructions for receiving funds. My loan officer contacted the dealership and was banks and didn’t mention anything….until my bank sent the drafting instructions for receiving funds. My loan officer contacted the dealership and was transparent from the beginning on drafting process. The dealership agreed and accepted, until they found out I was driving over 500 miles from out of town. The dealership quickly changed their mind and requested a cashier check or no deal. It came down to the dealership wanting me to finance through them or use someone they recommended. My guess is they get a kick-back in return (finders fee) if I chose to finance. So my wife and I decided to conduct our business with a different dealership. Toyota of Richardson should state on their website they don’t accept out of town banks. I’m sure that would save time for other customers who experienced what I did. More

We found a perfect vehicle at a good price. We actually were planning to purchase the car sight unseen, drive up to the area for an event and pick-up the car during our visit. We spent all day back and forth on phone, email and text. Passed off to multiple sales reps. They first suddenly increased the price of the car, then "honored" the original price only to add $2995 as a "dealer loyalty program" for their services (who does this?!?) . No services or incentives offered with this "program" but rather for their procurement & conditioning of the car. Conveniently, this charge was the price difference from the "honored" price. Told them to delete the line item, match the interest rate like they promised and then suddenly there is no room for customer service. We ended up not purchasing. Never have we ever encountered this type of dishonest sales practice and terrible customer experience in the years we’ve bought new or used cars! Found all over the internet that this dealership practices up-charging their customers like this regularly! Read your offers and make sure you don't get scammed by this dealership! More

Set up to meet with Rob Bauer at Toyota of Richardson. I was met promptly and Rob was OUTSTANDING!
