First impression: When I walked into this place I knew from the numerous plaques of recognition to the Aston Martin in the reception area the smell of movie popcorn it was going to be a good experience. They have a 90,000 Square foot show room of vehicles to drool over. Just an amazing place that you have to check out. The Experience:: First, it has been well over 15 years since I walked a lot and purchased a vehicle. I didn't know what to expect. Back in the day, the used car salesman had a bad reputation. Considered sharks out for only one thing, your money. Well, I hate to say it but that still rings true. I was specifically looking for a Maxima. Where I live, it's pretty thin on choices. I knew I had to broaden my geographical net which included North Texas. There were so many cars that caught my eye. First one, I drove down two plus hour drive only to find out I was lied to. In short I told them no deal and drove back home. A few weeks later, made an appointment to drive down about the same area but this time reached out before leaving to make sure the appointment stood and was told the car was sold. I couldn't believe it. While continuing my search, I stumbled upon Dallas Lease Returns. They had the exact Maxima I was looking for. My heart started to race with excitement. I filled out the inquiry form and the next day I got a call from Robert Schultz. The rest is history. They say third time is a charm - It's true! Robert listened to me and understood my frustration and offered a simple solution that nobody else ever did. Hold the car with a small deposit that was even refundable if I didn't like the car for any reason. This is exactly what I did and thanks to Robert that Maxima is sitting in my garage! He was excellent at navigating this buying process and I am very thankful for that. Oh, and the cherry on top, Robert asked me to follow him to a gas station which was right by the entrance ramp to the highway back home. He filled the tank up! How cool is that.. Thank you Robert! I appreciate everything!! Moving forward, I will recommend DLR to anyone I come across looking for a vehicle and share the experience I had! More
