I spoke to and dealt with Jun Suello. He was friendly and straightforward with me about the car I was interested in. I inspected the car with a fine tooth comb (in my opinion), and he explained the Toyota inspection policy to me. When I spoke to both Jun and his manager about my situation, they listened to what I had to say and treated me with respect. This isn't the first car I've purchased, and not the first used car I've purchased; there were no surprises, I'm very satisfied with a vehicle that I researched extensively and Jun, who facilitated the purchase. My thanks to Elgin Toyota. Five starts for Jun! Great experience! More

In checking my deal paperwork.’ The charges were present but the transferred registration for plates was missing. The next. day I called the dealer left messages for the sales manager no calls were returned So I had to go there. The gave be a copy of the application form and said they could not reprint it and it would come in the mail. A month later the form never shows up. I check the Illinois sec. of state details , the plates and title were never transferred. I call the dealer again, leaving messages for GM, sales manager, finance manager and finance rep.. No calls were returned. I go there on Saturday in June explain the situation spend 3 hours and in only gets processed after I buy new plates. The finance guy had messed up the original paper work. The whole experience was the worst They have no customer service do not buy there. They would have never processed the paper work. More

First of all when we got there the sales person was barely helping us. We wanted to test drive couple of the cars that we had in mind however, instead of pulling those car the sales person was telling us that he doesn’t work till midnight. We were at dealers since 5pm in evening. It’s not like we walked in at 8:30 and ask him to show this cars. Finally the sales manager assigned a different sales person to us. He showed us the car and put effort to help us. However when we were finalizing the purchase of a car the finance guy name Robert was showing us so much attitude. No greeting or kind words at all. He had so much ego and attitude towards us that he just wanted us to sign the paper work and be done with formalities. One after another everyone had attitude at this place. We weren’t done yet, it was used car so it had some damages that they agreed to fix it upon finalizing the sales. I was that someone from service department will call to make an appointment to replace those damaged parts. 4 days later I didn’t hear anything back so I called and they are like sorry it took us long to get back to you. Looking at the description they had no clue what needed to be order. So they wanted us to take the pictures and send it to them. Finally after 2 weeks of purchase they got the parts. According to the appointment I dropped off my car and I was told that it will take around 1-2hrs to get everything done. I dropped off it since 12:30PM but I didn’t get call to pick it up until 4:45pm and services closes at 5PM. Next thing we know, it’s still missing one part because they didn’t order correct part for it. While I am talking with service person he starts talking with another customer. I waited on side for him to be done with them and next thing we know he went home. I was so frustrated so I tried to speak with manager and he goes like I wasn’t involve in this conversation so I can’t help you. Seriously, it’s like nobody ever wanted to help us to begin with. From beginning till now it has been a HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. I WILL NEVER EVER BUY ANY CAR FROM THEM AGAIN. AVOID THIS PLACE. More

I tried this car buying service called CarBargains that contacts several dealers in your area and gets them to compete against each other for your business. I received 7 bids from dealers in the Chicagola contacts several dealers in your area and gets them to compete against each other for your business. I received 7 bids from dealers in the Chicagoland area and Elgin Toyota was the low bidder at $1,350 below invoice. I called Erica Mason on a Monday morning and told her I wanted a green Sienna XLE with AWD. They didn't have one in stock, but were able to trade for one with the dealer in Joliet. Erica sent me an itemized "out-the-door" price then and I saw that it was consistent with the markdown they had agreed to with CarBargains. I gave them a credit card number for deposit and they had the minivan in Elgin a few hours later. My wife dropped me off there that evening and I explained to Patrick Ellis that expediting the purchasing process for me would guarantee that I would give only the highest marks on the Customer Satisfaction Index survey from Toyota. He did his best and after filling out some paperwork and checking out the minivan, I found myself sitting in the finance office with Robert Soto. It didn't take him long to get me through the rest of the paperwork and I was out the door. I declined on all options, accessories, and extended warranties and was glad that they did not try to pressure me into buying them. All in all, I only spent about 30 or 40 minutes at the dealer for the entire transaction and can't imagine getting a better deal. I will never buy a car the foolish way again. Thanks CarBargains and Elgin Toyota. Most of all, thank you Lord Jesus for your great wisdom, mercy, and grace. More
