I have visited the used car dealership several times in the past 8 years. I have purchased a Camry from them in the passed. This dealership is very casual and friendly. Purchased a 2015 Elantra from this dealership from Scott Kulick on November 23, 2021. The price wasn’t great but average. December 14, check engine light came on due to a bad gas cap so I had to buy a new cap. Thus far that light has stayed out after purchasing a new cap. I’m from PA and had to do an inspection for my state after they finally gave me my registration. The vehicle failed due to rear brake pads, I had the issue resolved by my mechanic correctly to make my vehicle compliant to my state. I spoke with the dealership regarding this issue and their response was that it met the MD state requirements so they are not responsible nor willing to address the problem. Their belief was that 2/32” left on the pads meets the minimum for the state of Maryland so the fact it fails in PA at the same value is my problem. From my experience with this process it seems to me to be evident that meeting the bare minimum is acceptable practice for this dealership, regardless of the fact it will be below requirements in a month of usage. From my experience in purchasing a vehicle from this dealership and all of the little issues that have transpired culminating in a failure to pass inspection that I was left on the hook to pay for I cannot recommend do business with this dealership or it’s parent group. If the legal minimum of the state of Maryland inspection is acceptable to them they probably aren’t the ideal choice for purchasing a used vehicle from. Had this scenario happened to someone else who was unable to afford the added costs just to legally operate the vehicle in PA this could have ruined them. For me it boils down to ethics and to feel this is acceptable speaks volumes of the dealership and practices that could be expected from them. I would not return and would not do business with this automotive group in the future. If you’re from Maryland and okay with a vehicle that may be as mine was and barely meet the minimum for Maryland this dealership might work for you. If you’re like me and from PA and have to get it inspected when you get the registration, shop elsewhere with dealers that comprehend that even a used vehicle to it’s new owner shouldn’t have such basic problems not even a month into ownership. For the experience I’ve had I could have purchased from a private seller and at least then I could understand and expect this. More

Koons had the best inventory of CPO 4Runners. Emailed Matt Hands multiple times and always received a prompt response. Scheduled an appointment and unfortunately was running late. Made Matt aware and he was courteous and prompt in his reply. Was meet by a very nice young man by the name of Nicholas Drugan. Extremely patient person and answered all our questions. After deciding on which 4Runner it was time to talk Finance which we were dreading....Roberto made the process palatable. He was able to secure a rate lower than my CU which was a win in my book. Long day but each person made the process worth the wait. Great team work and every employee we encountered along the way smiled and was friendly. More

Visited this dealership in early 2021 to buy a used car that was selling under the MSRP. I talked with Jim Shea who misrepresented the car and lied about it’s condition. Tony has chosen the wrong profession I bought a 2012 Sienna at this dealer and now am in the process of purchasing a used car. I dealt all deal texting back with Matt, who was helpful. We finally arrived at a final cost and my husband and I arrived for a test drive. We were shuffled to a second person Roberto who contradicted what Matt had told us. He told us Toyota doesn't certify anymore. Finally Tony the service manager came out and told us Matt had given us a typo and the cost was not 11,200.00. So the best deal he could give was 12,200.00. He was extremely unprofessional. He said we came in thinking we were getting a 'steal'. I said actually I was negotiating what I felt was a fair price based on Kelly blue book values,etc. he handed the quote to one of his salesman and said put this deal in the shredder and basically dismissed us. I can promise that I will NEVER buy from this dealership again nor will I ever service my van there. I have never been treated with such disrespect. I live and work in this community as I am sure these people do as well. I am sure our paths will cross paths. Bad service Toyota. Shame on you. I will go back to Honda. More
