Pretty Incredible Experience I had been in the market for a new Chevy Silverado for some time. I was visiting my in laws in El Paso for Christmas and started looking at the local I had been in the market for a new Chevy Silverado for some time. I was visiting my in laws in El Paso for Christmas and started looking at the local dealerships but found everything to be very overpriced and heavy sales tactics. I think most of them thought I was an idiot because they threw every tactic at me and it just made me think a nice Silverado was a bridge too far. My uncle suggested Vernon Auto group but i'd have to basically buy from looking at vehicles on the internet. I was totally sold on that idea. I called Vernon and Rodney Haston was the professional who helped me out. I told him what I was looking for and he found it right off. I flew to Dallas where they delivered the vehicle and it looked better than what it looked like on the internet. No hassles, the price was right, professional and easy to deal with. THERE WERE NO GIMMICKS OR SALES PITCHES. The communication with Rodney was much better than I would have ever expected. I never knew buying a car would be this easy and painless. I'm sure all the sales professionals are outstanding but talking to Rodney Haston paid big dividends for me. Look them up, you won't be disappointed. More

Good experience! We live in Iowa and happened upon Vernon Auto Group while browsing the internet. We found a vehicle we liked and thought the price looked very good, We live in Iowa and happened upon Vernon Auto Group while browsing the internet. We found a vehicle we liked and thought the price looked very good, so filled out the form to see what we could get for our trade. It turned out that truck sold, but we found another we liked, and were happy with the deal they put together, so decided to road trip to Texas! All was well until we had a major tire blowout just before we got there. We called Rodney and let him know what was going on, and he just wanted to make sure we were okay. For some reason google maps sent us to an empty lot on the other side of town but eventually we made it, and Rodney was at the door waiting for us. The truck we were buying was as advertised, and the adjustment on our trade was fair, considering the blowout bent a shock and they could not do an accurate test drive of our truck. We were a bit out of sorts between the blowout and getting lost, but everyone at Vernon was very nice, and the paperwork was easily handled. We forgot about the 500.00 deposit we had made, but this was refunded with no issues. We also received a couple of follow-up phone calls to make sure we were happy with our purchase. Is it a bit crazy to drive to Texas for a vehicle? Yes, maybe, but we did and were happy with the experience. And we know our 2014 GMC has not had two full winters of road treatment eating away at it. :) More
