However, dealing with Willie, the finance guy, leaved a bit to be desired. - He was clearly pushing us into a lease, which I was never really comfortable with. Granted, they did a great job explaining all the ins and outs of a lease, but I clearly felt we were being steered towards it. Not great. - He was a bit condescending when I told him we were going to finance instead of leasing. He seemed annoyed, but remained mostly polite. - (The main reason I am giving a 4 star instead of a 5) - Willie, the finance guy at Holm Auto, was completely unaware of the promo APR going on for new Buick buyers, which was 3.99% for 72 months through GM Financial. I, not Willie, had to find the promo online prior to our appointment and bring it to his attention. So what would have happened if I didn't find it? We'd be paying 6-7% on our loan, instead of 3.99%. His explanation was "Well those APR promos aren't always communicated to us by the management." So he essentially passed the buck and blamed someone else for his lack of knowledge at his job. So you're telling me the finance guy at Holm Auto is unaware of the financing specials on the new cars that Holm Auto sells...? Don't think so. I think he failed, and I called him out on it. Long story short- I am paying 3.99% on my loan because of my research, nothing that was done by finance at Holm Auto. More

I can honestly say I have not received the level of service from any dealer like I received from Holm Automotive in Abilene. Chu with many dealers. It is such an enjoyable experience dealing with Holm Automotive. I enjoy the negotiations and just the atmosphere in general. I purchased a car from Holm purely because I was told that it had a 10 year/100,000 mile warranty on it. The engine blew, when I called to see what I needed to do, I was referred to Kia who then told me that it had a 10 year/100,000 mile warranty on it. The dealership said they were sorry and that warranties get miscommunicated by dealers that don’t understand how thing transfer all the time. They pretended to see what they could do about it and did nothing about it and told me that it’s my problem. Buyer beware when purchasing used products from them, get EVERY little thing in writing and don’t believe a word they say. I do not recommend doing business with them on any used car purchase. They are unprofessional in how they talk about their own staffing with blaming each other all to stiff you the customer while not being accountable for anything. Now that I have asked around more, I am hearing other terrible experiences with them as well. Beware, my mistake buying a car from them cost me $16,000! More
