This is the second car I have purchased from Paramount, I have recommended everyone I know to do the same. The sales and service teams have gone beyond what I have asked to make sure I was happy with my pur have recommended everyone I know to do the same. Emily Triplett was our sales representative and was extremely helpful; doing her best to make my wife and I happy. We were able to find a great vehicle that was within our budget and Rudi Rudisill was extremely helpful; doing her best to make my wife and I happy. Horrible experience with Paramount! After leaving the US Air Force, we needed a new car for our family as we relocated to civilian life in NC. We found a certified pre-owned 2011 VW Touareg online at Param Air Force, we needed a new car for our family as we relocated to civilian life in NC. We found a certified pre-owned 2011 VW Touareg online at Paramount and made a rather easy purchase in July 2012. The car had approximately 16,000 miles. We paid almost $40,000, which was on the higher end of what we should have paid, but my husband was about to start his civilian job and we needed another car quickly. This was the THIRD transaction Paramount has made in FIVE months on this car (prior owner purchased in Feb 2012 then quickly traded in). We chose certified pre-owned to save money and for the assurance that we were purchasing a car that had been thoroughly checked and should avoid unexpected expenses anytime soon. We were assured there would be no problems having the car serviced in Greensboro although we were buying it in Hickory. Shortly after buying the car, my husband noticed a noise the tires were making. We took the car in August 2012 to Flow VW in Greensboro where they noticed a gash in one tire, and noticed all four tires were never properly maintained and should be replaced, which costs well over $1300 (new tires and alignment) due to the tires required. We were told the tires seem to have never been rotated or aligned. This should have happened several times before 16,000 miles. Paramount was at first completely unwilling to help with our situation at all. They said if we wanted their help we needed to drive the car to them in Hickory so they could see the tires, although Flow had already told us it was unsafe to drive on the tires. This was frustrating because we had been assured there would be no issues having it serviced and maintained in Greensboro when we bought it. Flow VW felt bad for the situation we were in and offered to pay for 2 new tires for us as an act of good will! I found this very kind considering they had absolutely nothing to do with our purchase of the car. I called Paramount CEO, owner, and re-requested the buyer's survey from Paramount which we had never completed. None of my messages were returned, nor have I received the survey almost a week later. After seeing Flow's good will toward us and seeing my attempts to reach senior people at the dealership, Paramount finally agreed to pay for one tire and the alignment, leaving us to pay for one tire and Flow to pay for two tires. The certification happened in May 2012. Even if the tires squeaked by the certification, I feel certain that someone at Paramount had to notice the lack of maintenance and proper care on the tires. I find it highly disturbing that after making three transactions in five months on this vehicle that Paramount left us in the lurch on the new tires after receiving almost $40,000 from us. The tires should have been addressed before we purchased the car. This was a valuable lesson for us to ask questions even beyond the 'certified' label. While we were deeply disturbed by Paramount's business practices, we were highly impressed with Flow VW in Greensboro. We will be taking our business to Flow in the future! More

I was looking to buy a new VW Golf, either the GTI or the Golf R. Originally the Golf R was my choice, they found me a perfect car at a great price. I changed my mind and wanted a GTI, despite this change they took it and found the perfect car again for me the next day. They gave me the gti at a deal that the local VW dealership couldn't even touch. I am in Abingdon, VA and Paramount is in Hickory, NC. I agreed on the payment terms and the car was hand delivered to me at my work! No delivery charges anything. The service I recieved was the best automotive experience I have ever had. I work in customer service and I know the value of hospitality and doing whatever it takes to meet your customers needs. They definately will have me as a customer in the future! More

The purchase experience I had at Paramount Volkswagon was impressive. I had visited the showroom to view the new 2012 VW Beetles. At that time, I mentioned to the salesperson the exact options, color, etc impressive. I had visited the showroom to view the new 2012 VW Beetles. At that time, I mentioned to the salesperson the exact options, color, etc. that I desired, but also noted that I was about a month away from being able to purchase. When I returned to the dealership rougly one month later to order my car, I actually forgot a few of the things that I had asked for. When my car arrived, I apologized to my salesperson and mentioned that I may have forgotten to specify a few simple options. As I inquired about interior color and a few other things, he grinned and said "I remember what you asked for on your first visit to our showroom and made sure that your new car had exactly what you wanted...." Wow. Needless to say, my new Beetle is perfect. The entire staff at Paramount was a joy to work with, and kudos to my salesperson, who actually listened to his customer. In this day and age, that is becoming a rare quality. More

This was the most pleasant experience in buying a car that i have ever had! I was very hesitant about even starting the process of buying a new car just because i didnt want to deal with the "pushy: sal that i have ever had! I was very hesitant about even starting the process of buying a new car just because i didnt want to deal with the "pushy: sales people. I know that is bad - but i just want to relax and take my time and do it on my own time without someone there pushing me along! Ned Owens was awesome!! He gave me the time that i needed to make my decision and didnt push me into anything that i didnt want! Very professional! I would recommend this dealership to anyone that doesnt like a "Bad and Pushy" salesperson. Everyone was extremely friendly and polite! Very accomodating! Loved it!!! and LOVE MY NEW 2012 Passat TDI!! I didnt even think about a diesel car until i rode in one and now im hooked! AWESOME AWESOME CAR!!!! More
