The two of them teamed up to make our car buying experience incredible. We purchased our second Subaru from Grand Subaru after having a horrible experience with Evanston Subaru; who I would never recommend. Our expereicne with the team from Grand was excpetional from my first inquiry to signing the paper work. Bill replied to my emails quickly and did not pestor me with emails or calls but waited for me to respond. When Bill became ill Ryan the General Sales manager stepped in and kept the conversation going. Ultimately the conbination of customer service and price made it the reason we purchased our Outback from the team at Grand and we will continue to buy other cars from them in the future. I would recommend this dealer, in fact I already have to a few of our firends who are looking for new cars. You will not be disappointed working with this team, they are not your usual car sales team. More

We had been looking for a 2012 Legacy limited in the western Chicago suburbs. A cursory internet check showed about 13 within 25 miles. The 3 lowest priced were at Grand Subaru in Bensonville, so we w western Chicago suburbs. A cursory internet check showed about 13 within 25 miles. The 3 lowest priced were at Grand Subaru in Bensonville, so we went there first. We did not know that they sell more cars than any Subaru dealer in Illinois. The staff was very knowlegable, and exceedingingly freindly. I test drove the car with John Gallo, then he arranged for me to take it home - about 20 miles, so my wife could drive it. She liked it too, so back we went, and walked out about 2 hours later after trading in a car and buying this one. No muss, not fuss. There was an issue with a key, and over a couple of days talking with the sales manager, Ryan Drouin, that's been taken care of as well. I don't buy cars often, and generally dislike the entire process, start to finish. But this was different. I had done a lot of research on this car and what it was worth, which the sales team noted. The car was competetivly priced so the negotiation was quick and pleasant. I would definately use Grand Subaru again! More

Tremendous experience. Very responsive, straightforward and no games. Gave an amazing price (over 7% lower than other dealers on the first bid) - other dealers couldn't / wouldn't match their price. They and no games. Gave an amazing price (over 7% lower than other dealers on the first bid) - other dealers couldn't / wouldn't match their price. They tracked down the color combo we wanted and made it happen quickly and with very little effort on our part. Dan,Bill and Ryan were great to work with - did not bad mouth competitors (other dealers in Chicago did), did not employ high-pressure tactics (other dealers did) - just offered a great price plus some extras and delivered on every promise timely and in full. Will absolutely be recommending Grand to friends and family. More

Sandy and Ryan at Grand Subaru arie rock stars! In under 24 hrs over the Internet and on a weekend, Sandy had located the car I specified about 100 miles from their showroom and Ryan took a credit card depo 24 hrs over the Internet and on a weekend, Sandy had located the car I specified about 100 miles from their showroom and Ryan took a credit card deposit over the phone. It was as easy as ordering pizza. Choose the toppings and you are good to go. I was happy with the asking price. I couldn't get one of their competitors to even give me a price by phone or email even after test driving there (Gerald's). The same competitor told me I would have to wait 8-12 weeks for delivery from the manufacturer. Grand procured my vehicle in 4 days. Another competitor (Mid-City) gave me an Internet price only to flood me with follow up emails. Grand brings car buying into the 21st century. Yes, they are still a dealership with remnants from days grown old. You still must hear sales pitches for interior/exterior protection and extended warranties (read the exclusions and conditions for both). When closing the deal, make sure to read the financing closely as documents fly by at fast pace for signing. Nonetheless, Ryan an Sandy have an easygoing and humorous manner but are hardworking and remarkably responsive. And, BTW, my 2013 Outback is an outstanding, better than hoped for vehicles without a flaw thus far. More

This is my second Subaru I bought from this dealership. I was gone maybe 4 hours. When I did another search, I found the exact car with the same options at Woody's Grand Subaru (at the time). I went in there with my Autobarn Evanston quote and they beat it by $500 in 4 minutes of walking through the door. No test drive, no nothing just get the paperwork ready! Fast forward to March 2012, I have been kicking around the idea of buying another Subaru for a long time, and Ryan remembered me back from 2005. I shopped around and got a great price from Autobarn Countryside, once again. I was having issues with my trade, while looking for a replacement, Jennings Volkswagen quoted me about 3k less than Rousch VW. That and I wanted a bigger car that the Jetta was and the Passat was more than I wanted to pay (over 24k). I went over and told Ryan where I wanted to be after trade and what I have been quoted for my trade at various dealerships (there was a 3k difference out there!). Like last time, the deal took about 3 minutes, with him beating Autobarn's trade-in offer and beating their price by $1000 WITHOUT me even disclosing the price that Autobarn quoted me. Also, their service department is really good. They still have the same 'kid' there from when I bought my Outback in 2005 (he's 26 now..). I told Ryan a long time ago that he made a customer for life out of me. If I didn't have a love for Jeep Wranglers, all my cars would be a Subaru. I cannot speak for the rest of the sales staff, but Ryan is a good manager. More
