A great dealership with professional staff I have been coming to this dealership fir a few years now and I just can’t say enough about their sales people who make a car buying experience a bree I have been coming to this dealership fir a few years now and I just can’t say enough about their sales people who make a car buying experience a breeze. They do not put any pressure on the buyers but provide a abundant amount of information on the model you are interested in so that you can make an informed decision on the purchase. Ryan Straz is one of those sales person who provided such a great experience once again. This is one of the reasons I have 4 Mazdas in my household and they were all bought from this dealership. The management also is just superb and I will say that Jonathan Summons who is the GM of this dealership patiently helped us move through the process in our last four experiences. If you are looking for a Mazda I would highly recommend Autobarn Mazda Chicago and experience it yourself. You will not be disappointed. More

can't believe how long paperwork takes This has been hands down the worst dealership I have ever seen. I'll start from the beginning of this journey. First, the dealership was the only o This has been hands down the worst dealership I have ever seen. I'll start from the beginning of this journey. First, the dealership was the only one within hundreds of miles that had a 2014+ mazda 3 HB mt for sale for a reasonable price which was awesome. I was really excited to snag one and drive it as much as possible. I got there and we went for a test drive, the car is exactly what I wanted (It's awesome!). So I began the financing and this took a bit of time but no big deal. This is when the first minor thing struck. it took them another 2 hours after I finished financing to even get the vehicle to me.. I spent a total of 5 hours in their dealership to buy a car..I had never bought a car in Illinois or from a dealership before so I assumed it was normal. After going to a dealership with a work buddy and him being in and out of the dealership on lunch hour it seems a lot less normal. I was also told that the dealership would handle all the registration and paperwork to get the car title transferred and the plates to me. It was great to have someone else handle this for once since I was used to buying second hand from private sellers and usually did it on my own. As it turns out this dealership is fairly incompetent at the paperwork as it took them a little over 5 months to finally get the title transferred (this was after multiple calls from me to them, the bank that serviced my loan, and a final complaint to secretary of state) in that time I received 1 and only 1 call from the dealership after I made a complaint to secretary of state updating me on the progress. In which she said it should be 7-14 days and they will overnight me the plates the minute they get them (haven't heard a thing since and that was sept 17... 7-14 days is close to 45 right?). I finally got a call from the bank(not the dealership) that they received my title finally and they would overnight it to me. so now here I am with a dealership that has been just dreadful to work with and I am stuck paying for all the fees to get my vehicle registered ($214 if the dealership reads this and gives a xxxx) plus my plates went to the wrong county and I will have to pay to get the new ones ($10 again if anyone gives a xxxx). so please for the love of god do not ever let this dealership do the title paperwork. I will be putting one final complaint in to secretary of state and then never dealing with this dealership again and I hope they lose their license to sell cars. More

Purchased Mazda 2017 CX-5 Touring with AWD. Ryan Straz was my salesman, and he did an excellent job of making my purchase experience wonderful! That being said, I recommend the Autobarn Mazda of Evanston for your purchase of a Mazda. Ask for Ryan Straz; he's fair. More

Juan is my personal preference, but he has me trusting anyone that works To me the real hero at the Mazda autobarn is the service agent Juan Vargus. Juan is my personal preference, but he has me trusting anyone that works with me at Mazda Autobarn. I have owned three Mazda's. I've purchased two from Evanston Autobarn. The third I had overhauled and rebuilt by the autobarn team. I just recently got my wife in a Mazda. This is the store to buy your new Mazda or have it serviced! This guy has worked so hard on my behalf from the day I met him to give me the best quality care for my car at a fair price. I was so HAPPY with the repair. Juan Vargus and his crew's persistence helped me process an engine warranty claim. I would have given up on the insurance company that was avoiding my contract claim and just flat out paid all out of pocket for a replacement engine since I was driving a loaner, supplied by Mazda autobarn and needed to get rolling again. Juan acted as my advocate constantly petitioning the contract provider to inspect my vehicle and make a determination. His tenacity paid off for me, allowing me to replace the engine! He spent a lot of time seeking a good engine, in the end, he secured me a brand new engine! His relationship with other Mazda associates must be impecable, especially his top notch mechanics. Being so happy with Juan Vargus' service, I purchased a Mazda 6 from the Autobarn that I just love and will not allow ANYONE else to service my sexy beast 6! This guy takes care of all his clients this way, not just me. He responds to my service appointments request even on his days off, so I'm not left hanging. We should all hope he never leaves as Juan Vargus is the professional face of Mazda Autobarn Evanston, If you have a Mazda that needs service or looking to buy a new Mazda, call Juan. He is what all service agents should strive to be, going above and beyond for no personal gain, just the pleasure in being a professional beyond reproach. There are so many benefits from vehicle care at the Mazda autobarn that go beyond what you might need to visit them for, leaving me to trust the service and vehicle implicitly. RUN!!!!!! Buyer beware! Avoid this dealership. Salesmen are well trained scam artists and it starts directly at the top with Richard Fisher. They lied about the Buyer beware! Avoid this dealership. Salesmen are well trained scam artists and it starts directly at the top with Richard Fisher. They lied about the carfax and several other issues with the vehicle we bought. Our factory warranty has all but been voided by BMW because of a prior accident they hid from us during the purchase. During our test drive we heard a rattle in the rear of the car. The salesmen told us he would have the noise investigated when we returned to the dealership. We were then told the spare tire was loose and causing the rattle so they tightened it and everything was good. After spending over 6 hours at the dealership getting the run around on everything but what color the sky is we left with the car. Biggest mistake ever!!!!! The rattle was still there, come to find out the car doesn't even have a spare tire.......they lied!!!! First of many lies. Stay away from any Autobarn dealerships, there is no service after the sale and they will tell you anything to get you to buy their junk. We are now seeking legal action against them. This purchase has been nothing but a nightmare and it shouldn't be when you pay close to $40,000 for a car. Please don't be a victim like we were, look elsewhere. More
