Best car shopping experience I have ever had! I went online to look at what inventory the dealership had, so when I came in to the dealership they already had the car I was interested in ready for the t online to look at what inventory the dealership had, so when I came in to the dealership they already had the car I was interested in ready for the test drive. Scott Allen was very friendly and approachable throughout the process. He answered al if my questions and was very thorough when going through the car buying process and after when he was showing me everything my car could do. I will most definitely recommend Scott and Basney Honda to all of my friends and family if and when they are in the market for a new car. More

Our experience was great, both of these men answered all questions and directed us in a no nonsense manner as to what vehicles would best fit our needs. We bought 2 vehicles in those 3 days. Security Freeze Snafu Overall, I'd say Basney is an excellent dealership. My only problem - and it became significant - was partly my fault for placing a security freeze on Overall, I'd say Basney is an excellent dealership. My only problem - and it became significant - was partly my fault for placing a security freeze on my credit reports. While I had lifted it from Experion, I did not realize it was also in place for TransUnion and Equifax. Thinking Experion was the problem, I spent over an hour on the phone with them trying to lift an already lifted freeze, while Accounting was calling TransUnion getting the "cold" shoulder. When Accounting and I finally discovered our miscommunication, I asked my representative, Scott Allen, if he had the phone #s I could contact to lift the freezes. No, he didn't, and even Accounting had to dig to find them (I've learned that credit bureaus do not freely give out their contact information). So, after all was cleared up with my excellent credit rating, I recommend that every representative have the bureau customer service numbers at their desks. In this day of rampant identity theft, if I'm the first customer who had security freezes on her accounts and forgot about it, I definitely won't be the last. That's a procedural issue that should be addressed. Otherwise, Scott was informative and very helpful, and Ken Bloss did an excellent job of communicating very detailed information. I initially dealt with Leslie on the phone before I went in for my test drive. Unfortunately, she was not available when I showed up for my appt., so Scott was willing to help. I never met Matt Mulstay, but the CR-V was beautiful when I took possession, so someone in Maintenance did a great job. And Chip, I'm sure, is very capable, but we were only introduced to each other so I'm really not one to rate him. Overall, I would definitely recommend Basney to anyone, as long as the customer has checked with all the credit bureaus to lift their security freezes prior to applying for an auto loan at Honda's current very attractive rates. More
