Hard to impress a a customer experience executive On my way to Father’s Day dinner my wife’s truck decided it’s transmission had had enough and then my wife decided she was done driving a crew cab pic On my way to Father’s Day dinner my wife’s truck decided it’s transmission had had enough and then my wife decided she was done driving a crew cab pickup truck and she was going to drive something “fun and classy”. She drove a full size SUV and a huge pickup truck for the past 10yrs. Being stuck at home for a couple of days, my wife had a list of cars she wanted to look at. We were both heading out of town later that week so we had limited time to test drive. There were a couple of BMW models on the list and we had about 48 hours to test drive, decide on a car and tow our immobile trade in to the lot. I called Ottos on the way to the dealership and I got transferred to Scott Gately. I explained the predicament, the two cars she was interested in and that we’d be arriving in about 15 minutes. We pulled into the lot and Scott already had both cars in front of the dealership, standing next to them with keys in hand. He explained aspects of each car and after she test drove the 230xi he showed us around the lot to look at other options. He was never pushy, but throughout the process he eliminated friction and generally made the experience as seamless and easy as possible. He was a consummate professional, gave subtle guidance when it was appropriate, but generally allowed my wife to genuinely enjoy buying her first “just for me” car ever. The paperwork was just as easy, with my wife getting to learn all about the car while I did the boring stuff...and all in about 15 minutes. I used to run customer experience for Bank Of America, PayPal and Toronto-Dominion, so I can appreciate an excellent service experience...although my bar can be high. Scott exceed it on all fronts. I will definitely buy another BMW product due to this experience. BTW - he gave me a decent trade in but I never even shopped the price despite another BMW dealer I’d contacted aggressively contacting me. Didn’t matter as I’d built that trust with Scott. A+++ More

Best Car Buying Experience That I’ve Ever Had I went into Otto’s BMW looking for a used vehicle. Not only was their inventory huge, but their staff was very friendly. My salesman, Scott Gately, ma I went into Otto’s BMW looking for a used vehicle. Not only was their inventory huge, but their staff was very friendly. My salesman, Scott Gately, made it incredibly easy to get the car that I wanted. Not only did he have it ready for a test drive immediately, but he also sat down and worked out numbers with me in order to get the payments as close as they could be to my budget. Scott was able to make the deal happen and able to fulfill all of my other requests along with the purchase. He allowed me to give him some information over the phone, which made the final paperwork incredibly quick and painless. When I went in to get my car, it was detailed to perfection, had brand new rubber floor mats, and was setup in such a nice way that it made me feel like I just purchased a $500,000 car. Scott even allowed me to drive back into the detailing center and had one of the employees mount my front license plate for me. After everything was all finished, he sent me off with a full tank of gas and some kind words. No exaggeration, all of Otto’s deserves some kind of recognition for the outstanding service that they bring to the table. Specifically, Scott is the best salesman that I’ve ever done business with and I don’t plan on buying a car from anyone else for a long while. More
