Just let me say that he not only sold me my first Jeep but he sold one to my wife as well. Friendly, outspoken, enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable are just a few descriptive adjectives that quickly come to mind when I think of Renell. I knew during our first of many meeting that he was the man who would be selling me my first Jeep. So glad I visited your dealership, so glad to have met Renell, so happy with my new Jeep More

I am not a fan of the stereotypical “car salesman” treatment that I get when I shop in person at most dealership. More than not, when I’d ask the salesman about new vehicle features, the attitude of “Little lady, here is your mirror to check your makeup, or we can discuss more when your husband arrives…” is displayed, and I go running for the hills! For this reason, I typically shop for new cars on Sundays when dealerships are closed. This is not the case at All Star Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep. I purchased my new Jeep in September and felt like they treated me like family. Brandon Pittman answered my questions accurately and confidently. It didn’t stop there. Scott Hamilton worked with me patiently to search and find the perfect vehicle. Joe Zucchero gave me advice on aftermarket accessories to make my Jeep one of a kind. Never once did I feel like I was being disrespected or taken advantage of. 3 ½ years ago while trying to decide on the next vehicle to purchase, I promised Scott that if I were to by a Jeep, it would be from All Star. I have changed that promise. Now the promise is, if I am going to buy a Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep or Ram, I will buy it from All Star. I recommend this dealership for your next new, or “new to you” vehicle! More

The cloth top was thrown in back and disassembled, the back seats were pushed down and there was dog hair in the vehicle. Keep in mind, my husband is allergic to dogs. Due to schedule constraints, I couldn't get back to the dealership until 6/22. Brandon Pittman is the person who was originally helping us but he asked Garry Williams to cover him, which was fine. While waiting and signing paperwork, I was confident that All Star Dodge was getting my vehicle ready for me (washing, vacuum, etc.). That wasn't the case. Keys were handed to me for a dirty, dog hair infested vehicle. Really? I specifically asked Gary Williams if the vehicle was clean and if the seats were at least pushed up and he told me yes. I even called Brandon Pittman afterwards to complain about the conditions of the vehicle. He also assumed it had been washed. Overall, I give you guys a 3 out of 5. I think you all are nice and friendly but the communication needs work. Everyone is assuming and nothing is actually being taken care of and/or cross checked. Outside of a home, this is one of the biggest purchases a person makes in their lives. This is completely unacceptable and I am expecting All Star Dodge to make it right. More

Run Away, Someone else has what you want. A car is a car and you already know what you want. What you’re shopping for is someone to provide you more information and be able to service that ca A car is a car and you already know what you want. What you’re shopping for is someone to provide you more information and be able to service that car. After all, your about to enter into a long term relationship with that dealership. All-Star Chrysler in Bridgeton, is relationship that I truly regret starting. As an organization, I found them to be the embodiment of every stereotype of a car dealer that you can think of. I was told by a Sales Manager and Body Shop Manager, that I should accept the defect in my vehicle, since it was a common defect. The GSM was unaware of the defect and seemed generally unaware of his product. It took 2 weeks, 9 visits, 8 hours on site, and 3 hours of lost work with an uncompromising standard. I’m so disappointed, I just wish I could give my vehicles back and walk away. In February, I purchased two, 2016 Jeep Cherokees. I specifically chose All-Star in Bridgeton, based on previously meeting one their Sales Managers. I passed other Jeep dealerships so I could do business at All-Star. After owning my two Cherokees for a couple of months, I noticed the hood and the rear hatch were out of alignment. I sent an email to my sales person, simply asking for a point of contact so I could get this matter addressed. My previously helpful and accommodating sales person, never responded. (My guess is because he had already cashed his commission check.) I returned to the dealership and was assisted by a different salesman, who brought my issue to the attention of the General Sales Manager. The salesman then escorted me to various departments until we ended at the body shop. The manager of the body shop told me there wasn’t much he could do to fix, but would try to make it better. The body shop manager, brought me several other Cherokee’s to point out that there were all that way, but he would try. I left my Cherokee in their care and took home a rental. The next day, I picked up my Cherokee. I was disappointed with the results, but accepted it as their “best” and made arrangements to bring my other Cherokee up the next day. I was cautioned again, they would do their best. I even asked if I was the only guy that ever complained about it and was told they adjusted one hood before me. (I Googled “2016 jeep Cherokee hood alignment” and got over 200,000 hits. But All-Star only knows of one before me.) When I picked up my second Cherokee, I was informed that it aligned “better” than the other one. Which was true. (My issue became, how can two identical vehicles not be able to be adjusted the same?) I took this issue to the Sales Manager I knew previously. I was told again, that “they are all that way” and the Challengers have the same issue. (To me, it sounded like a child’s excuse, “But everyone else is doing it.”) He then asked, “Besides all that, how do you like it?” I then told him everything else I was dissatisfied with, such as how I don’t believe the transmission down shifts properly. But a great deal of my frustration has to do with the “tech package”. How the Uconnect 8.4 system functions and interacts with my mobile device. For example, the default position on the “radio” is on. And you cannot turn it off, your only option is to mute or turn down the volume. I find it annoying when I mute the sound system for a conversation and the next time I start the car, it defaults to its previously non-muted status. The Uconnect via Mobile function is unreliable, I have an email box full of notices that the connection failed. Most of all, when using the safety feature of hands free voice to text, the system amends your text message with “… Sent from my Jeep, Uconnect”. Frankly, it’s no one’s business where I am when I’m texting, unless I tell them. Had I known their system did this, I would have walked away. The Sales Manager I was telling this too, said he didn’t realize the system did this, since he never synced his phone to the dealer cars he drove. (I Googled “Uconnect text signature” and got over 57,000 hits, but no one at All-Star knows this) He did, however, offer to set up a meeting with the General Sales Manager so I could discuss these issues. Out of professionalism, I sent the General Sales Manager an email detailing the events and my treatment. When I arrived back to the dealership, I approached the General Sales Manager and introduced myself saying that the Sales Manager was supposed to set up a meeting. The GSM told me that he didn’t know about a meeting and hadn’t read my email. I gave him a moment to read my email so we could discuss how to proceed. The GSM seemed to be very empathetic and accommodating. However, he told me that he didn’t know about alignment issues (200,000 hits) until I showed him on the Cherokee on the floor. He said he didn’t know about the “text signature” (57,000 hits) and the other managers shouldn’t have told me that the issue were “normal”. The GSM went to address the issue with the respective departments, telling their managers to treat it like it was “His” car and asked if I could bring my cars back to be fixed. To their credit, both Cherokees are now fixed to my satisfaction. However, I sent the initial email on April 18 and I will be picking up my second vehicle today, May 3. Both vehicles required two trips to the dealer. I guess the first time, they treated it like a “Customer” car and the second time, they were treated like the “General Sales Manager’s” car. If you made it this far... Zachary Jones is the "Good Guy" in this story. Jason Pritz is the one that blew me off. In the end Scott Hamilton, literally just turned away from me. Your investment, deserves better. More
